Meet Analia Yang. She is a 24-year-old nurse who loves her job. She has always wanted to work in the medical field since she was young. Now that she has been assigned to the pediatric unit, she thoroughly enjoys working with children and even hopes to have one of her own someday.

Analia and her mother moved back to Korea from the United States about two years ago after her father lost his battle with prostate cancer. The adjustment was difficult for her at first, since Korea was so vastly different from the United States, especially since she was trying to complete her nursing course in Korea now.

Despite the culture shock, she quickly adjusted and made friends with her fellow nurses, with whom she studied and worked.

In her spare time, Analia enjoys exploring nature by going on hikes. Her favorite pastime is to head over to her favorite coffee shop, which also stocks some of the best books. She orders her favorite Caramel Frappuccino and snuggles up on one of the two-seater couches in the shop to read.

Although lately, that doesn't really last long, as she always gets a phone call from the hospital asking her to cover a few shifts in the emergency department, which has been severely understaffed recently. Today was no different.

Analía had just sat down and made herself comfortable when her phone rang. She checked the screen and saw the hospital's number flashing across it, which made her sigh before she finally answered the call.

Immediately after answering, she hears the voice of the head of nursing boom through again, asking her, "Miss Yang, I'm really sorry to bother you like this every time, but you've been such a great help previously, and the doctors in the emergency department all seem to like working with you since you're quick on your feet when assisting them. They've even told the charge nurse in the emergency department to ask me to change your allocation from pediatrics to emergency, but then the charge nurse in the pediatric unit put up a fuss and didn't want to let you go."

Analía giggles and says, "I used to work in the emergency room back in the United States, which would have been the nursing field I wanted to specialize in. But when I moved here and continued my studies, I was placed in the pediatric unit, which, to be honest, I wasn't too happy about because I loved working in the emergency room. But then I quickly realized I love working with kids, and obviously, they're much easier to work with than adults."

Head nurse: "Yes, I've heard the little ones adore Nurse Yang. According to them, you're the nicest. When you give them injections, it hurts less than when the other nurses give them injections. Plus, I heard you like to carry candy in your scrubs pocket, which you give them anytime they behave well."

Analía: "Um, I know the candy is probably too much, but some of them go through several procedures that are painful for a child to endure, so I just try to brighten their day a little."

Head nurse: "Oh, no need to explain. In fact, I think it's a sweet gesture and will definitely make them never forget the nurse who made their hospital stay easier."

Analía and the head of nursing kept chatting for a while, unaware that she was being watched by the stranger she had noticed always choosing the comfortable single sofa in the corner and reading while sipping on what looked and smelled like pure, strong black coffee.

In fact, unbeknownst to Analía, the stranger had been watching her too every time he saw her at the café. In fact, he actually noticed her because of her cute, high-top sneakers, which were his favorite color, purple.

He watched as she let out an adorable giggle, which made him smile behind his book. He listened as she said, "Okay, ma'am. I'll see you later, then," and finally ended the call. But just as she was about to put her phone away, it rang again. She quickly answered in an annoyed tone, "Yes, Lin!" Then, as if noticing she was speaking too loudly, she glanced over at him. He pretended to be deeply lost in the pages of his book.
