San then looks at Analia and tells her, "I know it's not visiting hours yet, but I just want to quickly pop in and see how our little patient is doing since my one meeting had to be moved to later, which is during visiting hours, which means I won't be able to see her."
Analia: "Oh, she's asleep now since the chemo took its toll on her again, but you can go in since Mrs. Yoo is with her in the room as well."
San smiles at Analia, flashing those cute dimples once more while politely thanking her. Analia looks at him and, with a bright smile, responds, "My pleasure," then watches him disappear down the corridor toward Sang-hee's room.
Once San was out of sight, Mi-ran and Lin, in unison, cleared their throats, and Mi-ran asked, "Care to explain what was with that interaction between you two just now?"
Analia: "What do you mean?"
Mi-ran: "Don't play dumb. You two just had a scene like something out of a romantic movie."
Analia waved her hand while clicking her tongue, then, in a slightly annoyed tone, told her, "There was nothing romantic going on. He was just stopping me from falling after I bumped into him after not watching where I was going."
Mi-ran: "Oh, really...? But the way you two were staring into each other's eyes spoke of something else."
Analia sighed then contemplated whether she should tell them about San being the 'coffee shop guy' and the weird visions she'd been having lately, when she suddenly heard Mi-ran asking, "Hey, what's going on in that head of yours?"
Lin interjects, saying, "Well, I think she's trying to figure out how it came to be that her coffee shop crush is now her boss." Lin's words cause Mi-ran's eyes to grow twice their size as she lets out a loud gasp. Analia, who thought they didn't know San was the 'coffee shop guy,' quickly tells her, "Just calm down. He's not my crush. It's just awkward that I sat in the same coffee shop as this man and even tried to make conversation with him without knowing he's the owner of the hospital I work at."
Lin: "But have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, he's always at the coffee shop the same time you are because he might be crushing on you and just didn't know how to approach you? Now that he knows you work for his hospital and has a sick niece, he has the perfect opportunity to get close to you."
Analia stares at Lin and shakes her head, telling her, "You sound like you're explaining the plot of some fiction novel or K-drama. Unfortunately, this is real life. There's nothing like that, and he's not interested in me whatsoever. I mean, he barely glanced at me in the coffee shop, and now he's only being nice to ensure his niece is getting proper care. That's all."
Mi-ran: "Do you really believe that bullshit that you spewing out of your mouth right now ?, because honestly, I can assure you I don't, in fact, the way thar man was looking at you, he seem already infatuated. "
Lin: "I didn't see the whole interaction that Mi-ran saw, but the little bit I did get to see of you and him interacting made me want to squeal. You two somehow just give off that romantic spark, and as your friend, I hope that spark turns into a full-fledged blazing inferno."
Analia rolls her eyes at Lin but can't deny that every time she sees him, it triggers something in her. But she's definitely not going to let her nosy friends know that and instead just tells Lin, "Let's get back to work so I can introduce you to little Sang-hee."
Lin smirks and teases Analia, "Want to catch a glimpse of Mr. Choi one last time before he leaves as well, right?"
Analia: "No! So just shut up, and let's just go do what we get paid for."
