Hyunjin's POV:
I said goodnight as I walked out with the bracelet in my hand, ready to give it to Chan. I didn't know what I was going to say but I knew I was going to make him feel bad for his actions towards Y/N tonight.
"Good luck talking to him," Han said patting me on the shoulder before taking off to his room.
"Night Hyunjin," Bin tapped me on the shoulder.
"Night and thanks, I'm going to need it." I knocked on Chan's door and there was no answer.
"Chan," I called out as I knocked again to be met with nothing from the other side. I finally turned the handle and opened the door to see his light on and no one in the room. I wonder if they left, if he took her home? I thought to myself as I scanned his room. Chan might have been an ass for his stunt with Y/N...but I know he's a good guy he probably took the woman home.
I don't know when he will be back so I'll set it down on top of his pillow to see. I walked out, closing the door behind me, ready to sleep.
Chan's POV:
"Well, have a goodnight," I said as I walked to the other side and let her out of the car.
"You can stay at my place tonight, Channie," she said with a wink.
Okay, I've had enough of this flirting from her, "What's with you?" I questioned.
"I thought you were wanting to get back at Y/N?"
I shook my head no, "After what Lee Know made me realize it's not worth it. And sleeping with you isn't going to get back at her. Why are you pushing it so much?"
"Okay," she let out a deep breath, "I have a huge crush on you. I have for a long time."
She looked down at the ground as if she was embarrassed by her confession. My body flinched back in shock, not knowing she's had a crush on me. Which is strange because I had a crush on her when we were younger but she immediately shut it down when she found out.
"Oh, you have for a long time?" I sounded skeptical as I crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"Yeah," she gave me this weird look, wondering why I was questioning her.
"But you knew about my crush on you when we were younger...you friendzone me," I pointed out.
"I know and I was stupid to have done it..."
I couldn't help but scoff at her confession, knowing she's probably lying. She could have easily spoken to me before we bumped into each other at the café. So I don't understand where this 'crush' came from.
I'm guessing it's because of how much more popular, successful my group has been lately but I have no time to argue with her. Plus, I can't even think about dating...especially right now. I didn't know if it was because of me being busy all the time or because of Y/N... "Look, I'm flattered but I'm not the man for you. He's out there somewhere looking for you but it's not me. Clearly, we're not meant to be. I'm sorry."
She looked back down at the ground before looking back at me with a soft smile, "I'm sorry I just thought.... I don't know...please forgive me?"
I want to say no but I really do enjoy our friendship...even if it is one-sided. "It's fine....let's move past it, ya?" I tried to set my anger to the side and pretended this didn't happen. "I'll see you at the concert and the after party?"
She nodded her head yes, "Sounds good, goodnight Channie."
We hugged goodbye before I got into the car and took off home where I just wanted to sleep and forget about tonight. I guess this evil plan I came up with worked but at what cost?
