We were going to my parents house this weekend since Chan wanted to officially meet my parents in person. He only met them through facetime but it was enough for my parents to love him. And let me tell you they embarrassed me right off the bat.
"Oh you're the man my daughter was excited to see next door that one day," My dad grinned as I shook my head, covering my face in embarrassment. Chan only laughed, placing his hand on my thigh, making me drop my hands.
"Yeah, she was worried how she was looking that day," My mom chimed in. My parents love me but they love to embarrass me more.
I did get a chance to meet Chan's family in person when he was able to fly out to Australia. I was so excited to go with him when he asked me; it was one of those places on my bucket list. But as the plane was coming for a landing, my nerves over took my excited mood.
"What's wrong?" Chan asked sitting up in his seat to get a better look at me.
"It's...it's nothing...I'm fine..."
"You can tell me," he caringly took my hand into his.
I turned to him and with a worried expression I let out my thoughts, "What if your family doesn't like me? Especially your siblings since you guys have a close relationship?"
"They're going to love you! Don't worry," He smiled trying to reassure me.
And well Chan was right because his whole family absolutely adored me, not to toot my own horn. I talked to his dad about golf and mentioned how he has to come with me and my dad to the Phoenix Open. "It's a lot of fun, it's like giant party!"
"Oh, I've heard about it, I've always wanted to go!"
And I talked to Lucas about music, he's such a sweetheart. His mom, Hannah and I could have kept talking about everything if we didn't have to leave. They even brought out his baby pictures, making Chan flustered and shy.
I had a really fun time with him in Australia because he took me too all his favorite spots. I ate so much food but I wasn't complaining. We even walked the beach he use to love going to. It was a nice trip with him and meeting his family was the highlight. They are all sweet and caring humans just like him. It was an amazing time.

We finally made it to the airport where Chan had to keep his head low, even though he was wearing a mask and hat, not to be seen by any fans. We made our way outside after finding our luggage and I tried to find my fathers gray Nissan truck. Within seconds, I turned my head and there were my parents waving us down with huge smiles on their faces.
"Hello, glad you guys are here!" My mom said hugging me.
"Kiddo, we missed you!" My dad said hugging me after my mom.
"I missed you guys too. Mom, dad...I know you met him over face time but this is my boyfriend...Chan."
"Mr. and Mrs. L/N, it's very nice to meet you in person," he said bowing.
