At the high school, Ethan is sitting on the couch, "You're a vampire?" he asks. "Now, it's nowhere near as dope as getting bitten by some radioactive bat or anything, but, uh, yeah, it's the truth," MG says. "It's still cool as hell. Super strength? Super speed? The blood thing is a bit of a bummer, but the only bad part was your mom and dad not accepting you for what you are," Ethan says. "Yeah. That part was, uh, definitely rough," MG says, looking down at his hands. "My story's the opposite. My mom's done everything she can to support me, even letting me stay here in Mystic Falls to let me make the most of what I got. Which isn't much, compared to you. But that's why getting cut hurts so much, 'cause I don't know how to tell her. Or who I am without football," Ethan says. MG nods, and Ethan brightens getting an idea, "Wait, can you compel that into me?" Ethan asks. "Uh...yeah. But, um, I'd rather help you figure that out on the other side," MG says. "Well, I'm curious about your next move," Ethan says. "What do you mean?" MG asks. "Well, you can say that you're not a superhero, but that's a load of crap. If there's one thing guys like us know, with great power comes great responsibility. So how are you gonna use those powers for good?" Ethan asks. In the silence, MG's watch beeps and the vampire looks down at it, and turns it off. "The, um, vervain should be out of your system," MG says. "Hey, can I ask a favor first? Don't take everything away. Uh, leave the part where we met today," Ethan says. "Why?" MG asks. "Because we're friends now, right?" Ethan asks. "And I-I could really use one right about now," the human adds.
"This spells disaster," Grace says. "Yeah, well not following my rules will do that," Alaric says. "I regularly break your rules," Grace says. "And look where that got you," Alaric says. "It got me dating your daughter and becoming one of the most powerful creatures in the supernatural history," Grace says.
Right next to the well, Kaleb turns to the girls, "What are you waiting for? Start complimenting each other while I go distract this thing," he says. The gremlin roars as Kaleb faces the monster, "I like the color of your hair," Grace says to the blonde. "I like your new style," Lizzie says to Faith whose hair is in braids. "I also like the color of your hair. And the cut," Hope says to Grace, who had cut her hair after the Mikaelsons bought the school. "Seriously? Respect has to be genuine," Landon says, coming back to the girls with a set of cables. "Enough of the two-sense, bird brains," Grace says. The gremlin growls, "GRACE," Hope, Faith and Kaleb shout. "Sorry," Grace says. "Compliment him," Lizzie says. "You and your nerd knowledge is not totally useless," Grace says. "Here. Grab this," Landon says, throwing the cables to Cleo. The witch grabs on and tries to climb out of the well. "Landon, good idea with the cables," Lizzie says. " Okay, come on, Cleo. You got this," Landon says. "I wish I had your confidence," Lizzie says to Hope. "I can only imagine what it's like to not second-guess myself all the time," the blonde adds, Grace interlaces her fingers with the girl. "To always be the hero," Lizzie finishes. "Y-You're doing it! It's shrinking!" Kaleb says. "Well, I'd trade my confidence for your brutal honesty," Hope says. "I learned it from your cousin," Lizzie says. "And your ability to coordinate outfits," Hope says. "You could have coordinated outfits if you let me dress you," Faith says. Hope chuckles, "If you teach me your badass, icy glare," Lizzie says. Hope gives the blonde a look, "You know the icy glare," Hope says. "Come on. You got this," Landon says. The four girls turn towards the well, "We got this," Grace says. "Levare," Faith and Grace say in unison. As if she is a feather, Cleo is lifted out of the well. The five girls and Landon begin walk over to Kaleb, "Not so big now, huh?" Kaleb asks. "I'm sorry about today. Might be new, but you are totally Squad," Lizzie says to Cleo. "Welcome to your first mission," Grace says. "Let's blast this thing," Faith adds.
"Again, darling, not helpful," Kol says. Grace rolls her eyes, "Dad you would have said the same thing," Grace says. "Again he doesn't have super strength. He can't help Cleo get out of the well," Klaus says.
"Where did it go?" Lizzie asks, when they reach the vampire. "It's right here," Kaleb says, gesturing to the pink monster on the ground. "It is only a matter of time until I return to my magnificent form..." the gremlin whimpers. "Hmm. At least we know it still talks," Faith says. "Yeah. You know, we better get an 'A' on this assignment," Kaleb says. "I want to take the little thing and put it in a mason jar and just give it to Headmistress Caroline," Grace says. "So long as we respect one another the entire time it remains in captivity, for if we do not..." Cleo says. Faith and Hope exchange a look and then look at Grace and Landon. "I don't love those odds," Lizzie says, catching the auburn haired Mikaelson and the pink haired Mikaelson's look. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" Faith asks her cousin. "More often than I care to admit," Hope says. The auburn haired Mikaelson steps forward, squishing the gremlin under her foot.
"You just stepped on a gremlin, darling," Kol says. "Yeah Uncle Kol," Hope starts. "I did step on a gremlin and then I threw out that pair of shoes," Hope finishes. Faith snorts, "You mean I threw out the pair of shoes because you ruined them," the pink-haired Mikaelson says.
Hope, Faith and Grace are in the auburn haired Mikaelson's dorm, "Let me get this straight," Hope says. "You two were practicing magic and he shot at you," Hope asks. "Yep," Grace says. "And then blamed you for our parents putting Caroline in charge," Hope adds. "Yes," Faith says. "The only thing that helped was the fact that Lizzie believed us over him," Grace says. "Not just Lizzie," Faith says. "Caroline believed us too," Faith adds. "What are we going to do," Hope asks. Grace and Faith exchange a look, "I don't know," they say in unison. "Have you guys seen Finn in a while," Hope asks. "Henrik asked me to make him visible today," Faith says. "But other than that, no," Grace says. "You mean, since the," Hope says, looking at Grace. "Musical," Grace says.
"They're starting to figure out that Finn's been up to something," Rebekah says. Finn sighs, "Oh, they're about to get a bigger surprise when I show back up," Finn says.
