Kol and Klaus exchange a look and the world stops when Faith screams. Both of them turn to see a stake through Grace's heart. "NO," they both exclaim. They head to the entrance and Kol catches Grace as she falls, Klaus directs Faith and Josie back inside. "Nik, get Davina," Kol says as he pushes Grace's hair out of her face. Faith is sobbing into her mother's chest.
Mystic Falls
Hope is following a trail in the woods with her Uncles when the sound of something popping makes her go on the defense. Then someone breaks through the tree naked, "Jed," she asks. "Hope," he questions. "Oh, no," Finn whispers. Hope's mind races, there was only two ways Jed would be back to normal and one of them meant that Grce broke the spell. But she was in New Orleans busy breaking the Malivore spell, and that left option two, that Grace was dead. Finn and Henrik look at their niece, "Head back to the school now," Finn demands. Then Finn and Henrik disappear.
New Orleans
All of the sudden Finn and Henrik appear in the Mikaelson compound in New Orleans. "NO," Finn shouts upon seeing Grace in her father's arms and then he turns to look at Faith and she uses her magic and both Finn and Henrik leave the compound to track down the witch. "No, no, no, come on little darling. Wake up," Kol whispers.

New Orleans
Kol poured a blood bag into a glass out of habit, when the girls were younger they did not drink blood bags in front of them. Davina comes into the kitchen as she puts on one of Kol's leather jackets. "Where are you going, darling," he asks. "Hayley called from the bayou," Davina says. "And," Kol asks. "She found a tree that was not there two days ago," Davina says. Kol gives her a look, "So someone planted a tree," Kol says. "It's fully grown," Davina deadpans. "The tree is nature's way of making a loophole to kill our daughter and I am going to burn it down," Davina tells her husband. Davina begins to leave the compound and Kol follows her. "I must say, you are very hot when you are protective," Kol says. "Not now, Kol," Davina says.
The couple arrives in the Bayou and they meet up with Hayley, "Is this it," Kol asks. Hayley nods, "I walk this path everyday and this is the first time I have seen it," she explains. Kol nods and turns to his wife and the mother of his child, she hands him a bag of salt. Kol uses his vampire speed and makes a circle around the tree, "Incendia," she says. The salt sets on fire and catches the tree on fire. The tree burns quickly and turns into ash, Kol gathers all of the ashes and puts them into a bag. "I'm going to take this somewhere that no one will ever find them," Kol says. "I'll do it," Hayley says, taking the bag from them. "We have to get back to the compound for when Grace comes back," Davina says. Kol's phone goes off and he checks the notification, "Can we wait," he says. "Why," Davina asks. "Mini Caroline is going head to head with my brother," Kol says. "We could go back to the apartment," Davina says. Kol wraps an arm around Davina and uses his vampire speed to head into the Quarter.
