The girls talking to their younger selves if the drug induced haze was longer:
Young Hope Marshall sat by the fire almost as if she was a statue. The older Hope Mikaelson moves around the contained flames and sits down next to the younger version of herself. "You know that those four girls are your best friends in the entire world," Hope says. "The entire galaxy," the younger Hope whispers. Hope laughs, "Is something going on between you and Josie," young Hope says. The older Hope looks over at her younger self, "Yeah," she says. "There is," she adds. "I figured," young Hope says. "How did you know," older Hope says. "We are literally the same person," younger Hope says. The older Hope smiles, "That is true," Hope says.
"You can rely on them, you know," Hope says. "How can I," young Hope asks. "Because they will always be there for you no matter what," Hope says. "But what if Lizzie and Josie get in trouble being around me," young Hope asks. "That is a risk that they are willing to take," Hope says. After a moment, she sighs, "Just so you know, you are the best thing that has ever happened to Niklaus Mikaelson," Hope tells her younger self. "I am," young Hope asks. Hope nods, "Don't hesitate to ask them for help," Hope says. "They always will," she continues.
The blonde Forbes moves into a room where the young blonde Saltzman was sitting in. Lizzie lays down on the bed and looks at her younger self. "You are more powerful when you do not bottle up your emotions," Lizzie says. The younger Lizzie sighs, "How can I let my emotions out," she asks. "They will just be a burden to everyone else," young Lizzie adds. The older blonde smiles, "Have you ever asked Grace about the feelings that you are trying to bury," Lizzie asks. Young Lizzie snorts, "What would Grace want to do with my emotions," young Lizzie asks. The older girl gives her a look, "I know that you see it," Lizzie says. "See what?" young Lizzie asks. "The glances that Grace gives you, the fact that if you were in danger, she would kill for you," Lizzie says. Younger Lizzie sighs, "The Grace that came with you does that to you," she says. "I know," Lizzie says. "Grace has your best interest at heart, at all times," Lizzie says.
Young Lizzie turns to her older self, "When did you begin dating your Grace," young Lizzie asks. "We were fourteen," Lizzie says. "You know how she is," Lizzie says. "She was so nervous, it was out of character for her," she continues. "She came into the library and sat down next to me." Younger Lizzie smiles, "And then what happened," she asks. "We asked each other out in unison," Lizzie says. Young Lizzie smiles, "That's so cool," she says.
