Ethan looks at MG, "Uh...I got to hand it to you, you sure know how to drop a truth bomb," Ethan says. "But why wouldn't you just tell me everything from the start?" Ethan asks. "I was trying to protect my friends. But then you became one of 'em, too. And I guess I never saw that coming," MG says. "Why not?" Ethan asks. MG exhales, not ready to admit why, "Because you're cool, E. And I'm..." MG says. "A freaking vampire, Milton. A superhero in training. There's nothing cooler than that," Ethan says. "I mean, yeah, I-I get that now..." MG says. "Do you? Because I say it all the time, but it's like you never believe it," Ethan says. "You know the deal. Uh, great power, great responsibility," MG says. "That's it. You lied because your friends are supernatural, and I couldn't understand what that's like," Ethan asks. "I think I hate where this is going," MG mutters. "But I can. As of information that I just learned ten minutes ago. Vampires can turn people, right? Then turn me," Ethan asks.
"And this is why no one gets told about the supernatural," Klaus says. "And hospitals are a thing," Grace adds. Kol laughs, "That is true, darling," Kol says. "He should have brought Ethan to the hospital," Klaus says. "But, no," Rebekah says. "He decides to give him vampire blood," Klaus says. Grace turns to Hope, "Are we judgmental," Grace asks. "What do you mean," Hope asks. "As a family, are we judgmental," Grace asks. Hope and Faith exchange a look, "Yes," Hope and Faith say.
In the funeral home, Ted stands over the body, Faith, Jen and Josie are sitting in chairs. Faith and Jen have their fingers interlocked. "Heed my call," Ted says. "Return to me, Robert," he says. "You know, he is much less interesting like this," Faith whispers. "Rise!" he shouts. Faith and Josie sigh, "Adducere ad animam..." Ted begins chanting. "Oh, this is pointless!" he exclaims turning to the girls. "It is, if you keep butchering the phonetics," Josie says. "Why are you making me do this?" Ted asks. Josie breathes out as she stands, "Short answer?" Josie asks. "We used to be black magic frenemies, which turned me into a Hot Topic supervillain. So standing up to you feels like personal growth," Josie says. "Did I ever tell you that Hope thought you being a Hot Topic supervillian was hot," Faith asks. Josie glares at the pink haired Mikaelson, "I will take that as a no," Faith says. "And the long one?" Ted asks. "I don't like you enough to tell you," Josie says. The man in the coffin gasps awake, "Jo," Faith says. Josie looks over at the coffin, Ted turns to see the man. "What," Ted asks. "Fire in the hole," Faith says. With that Faith blows up the coffin. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust," Ted whispers. He laughs, "Dust to dust!" he says again. Ted doubles over laughing.
Hope turns red, "I told you that in secret," she whispers to Faith. Faith smirks, "You did not tell me," Faith says. "You told me," Grace says. "And me," Lizzie adds. "WE told her," the two of them say. "Well, he is the same," Enzo says. "Did you expect him to change," Faith asks. "No," Enzo mutters.
In the Old Mill, Landon wakes up. "Oh, good. You're awake," Hope says. Landon groans, "There's nothing good about what you did to me," Landon says. Hope gives him a look, "Relax. It was just a sleep spell," Hope says. "Also not good, you brought a friend," Landon mutters, seeing Cleo. "I am only here to help," Cleo says. "But I'm guessing I'm not gonna like what's in the bag, am I?" Landon asks. Hope smirks, "We have to run some tests on you. Cooperation would be appreciated but isn't required," Hope says. "Okay. Then I would appreciate it if you two would get out of my way," Landon says. Landon stands and begins walking to the door, "You can play doctor by yourselves," he says. All of the sudden he runs into the spell that keeps monsters trapped. "Is spelling me into places your answer for everything?" Landon asks. "This is different. I usually do it to protect you from Malivore monsters, not because you are one," Hope says. "You can't be serious. I'm not a monster. I'm Landon, your Landon, which means I write dumb songs about you and force you to watch movies you would never and..." Landon says. "What I care most about is whether or not you trust me," Landon says. "Hope, I believe him," Cleo says. "And imprisoning him feels..." she adds. Hope smirks, "Then can you explain why this spell stopped him. That barrier stopped him, considering it only works on supernatural creatures," Hope says. "Okay, well, maybe it's because I used to be a phoenix," Landon says. "Used to be, you are supposed to be just human now," Hope says. "Or maybe it's 'cause I'm Malivore's son," Landon says. Hope smirks, "Are you proud of that," Hope asks. Landon glares at her and she smirks, "Or..." Landon trails off before sighing. "Maybe you're right," Landon says. "Glad we are on the same page," Hope says. "Okay. Well, if there's something wrong with me, I don't want anyone to get hurt because of it. So...test away," Landon says. "Perfect, thank you for giving me permission because the other way is more time consuming and a lot less fun," Hope says. "For who," Cleo asks. "Me," Hope says. "Now, I'm gonna need a blood sample," Hope says, tossing Landon a needle. "Great. You know how much I love needles," Landon mutters. "Perhaps there is another way," Cleo says. "Do it," Hope demands. Landon inserts the needle and attempts to draw blood. Black goo fills the needle, "What is that?" Cleo asks. "Mud," Hope says, with her eyes on the needle. Then she looks at Cleo, "Malivore mud," she adds.
"She's hiding something," Davina says. "What do you mean," Elena asks. "Cleo has only known Landon for a couple of weeks," Davina says. "She shouldn't trust him so easily," Kol says. Davina points at her daughter's father, "Exactly," Davina says. "Hope molded Landon's bust," Kai says. "And Cleo brought him out of the prison world," Bonnie says. "Without the Ascendant," Kai adds. "She brought the clay bust to life," Klaus says. "The girls brought him back," Kai adds.
In the funeral home, Ted looks at the three girls, "I can't raise the dead," Ted says. "Hate to be the bearer of bad news," Faith says. "No, you don't," Jen and Josie say in unison. "You just did," Faith says. "Briefly," Ted says. "If you wanted me to bring someone back, why did you blow him up," Ted asks. "Because you do not have the best track record for people coming back from the dead," Faith deadpans. Josie shrugs, "She's right," Josie says. Caroline walks into the funeral home to see the coffin in splinters and the three girls standing in offensive positions. "What happened here," Caroline asks. "He brought the dead guy back from the dead," Faith says. "And we blew him up," Faith says. Josie clears her throat, "Fine, I blew her up," Faith says. "I need you to bring me the ghost of Leonardo da Vinci," Caroline says. "Wait, that's plan B?" Ted asks. "If Da Vinci made the artifact, then he must know how and why it's connected to Malivore and everything that's been going on here," Caroline says. "My answer remains. And between us, I've...always been more of a Michelangelo guy myself," Ted says. "Look, back when you were The Necromancer, you were always willing to cut a deal. So name your price," Faith says. "There is no price. 'Cause if what you told me about who I was is true, then...oh, I don't wish to be that person ever again," Ted says. "Look, people don't change. Not deep down," Caroline says. "You're still the guy who laughs when Grandpa blows up," Faith says. "He laughed when you blew him up," Caroline asks. Ted begins chuckling, Faith and Caroline exchange a look and the pink haired Mikaelson shrugs. "Perhaps I won't succeed," Ted says. "But if I don't try...I'm surely evil," Ted says. "Then it's time for plan C," Caroline says. "Which always involves torture," Faith says with a smirk.
Klaus's eyebrows raise, "People don't change, not deep down," he says. "Don't ask that question," Grace says. "Why not," Klaus asks. "Because it is already on the list," Lizzie says. "Well, technically, it is on the list soon," Hope says.
