"Do you think you should bring Rose to a therapist?" Zoe asked, changing the subject gently. "I mean, it's not like she's the only one who's affected by all of this. You're going through a lot too. And we both know how much she looks up to you."

"Ain't no way Zoe! Look I don't want her thinking that something's wrong with her. Kids have enough crap to deal with these days without us piling more on. I'm just gonna be there for her, you know? I'll make sure she knows she's not alone. And if she ever wants to talk, I'm here to listen." Billie said, her voice firm and determined. She took a sip of her coffee before continuing, "I think it's important for her to have that one person she can really trust. You know, someone who won't judge her or tell her what to do. Someone who's just there for her, no strings attached."

Zoe nodded in agreement. "That's really important. And I think you're doing a great job with that, Billie. You're a great mom. And if you ever need to talk to someone, you know where to find me." They shared a brief smile before their conversation turned back to Rose.

As they left the diner, Billie couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Something wasn't right. She had a gut feeling that the missing flight was somehow connected to her family, even though she couldn't pinpoint how. She decided that she needed to do some research on her own, to try and piece together the puzzle.

She started by going through old newspapers and online forums, searching for any information that might help. Hours passed as she scoured the internet, her heart racing with every new piece of information she uncovered. She found reports of other mysterious disappearances around the same time as the missing flight, all of them seemingly unrelated. But something didn't add up.

As she continued her research, she stumbled upon a private message board dedicated to conspiracy theories. There, she found a thread discussing the possibility that the missing flight was part of a larger operation, possibly involving government agencies or even extraterrestrial beings. The theories were outlandish and far-fetched, but they also made her think. Maybe there was more to the story than she had originally realized.

She decided to broach the subject with Zoe over dinner. They were sitting at the kitchen table, enjoying a simple pasta dish when Billie finally mustered the courage to bring it up. "Zoe, I've been doing some research on the missing flight. . ."

Zoe looked up from her plate, her eyebrows raised in curiosity. "Really? What have you found out?" Billie took a deep breath before revealing some of the more outlandish theories she had stumbled upon. As she spoke, Zoe's expression grew more skeptical, but she listened intently, clearly intrigued. Zoe looked up from her food, a concerned expression on her face. "And? Did you find anything?"

"Well, there's this online forum I found. . . people are saying some pretty wild stuff. They think it might be connected to something bigger. Government conspiracies, aliens. You know, crazy stuff." She hesitated for a moment, unsure how Zoe would react.

Zoe took a sip of her wine before responding. "I've heard some of those theories too, but I try not to give them too much credence. Sometimes, people just need a reason for something like this to happen. It makes them feel like they have some control over the situation. But truthfully, I think it's probably just some sort of mistake. You know, a misunderstanding or something. I don't think we need to start jumping to conclusions."

"Zoe it's been six years and they keep giving theories, saying that the data was insufficient and all those bullshit. Then the debris they found, they confirmed it came from AA370 but then the first thing that popped in my mind was who planted it there? Why wasn't the wreckage found earlier? And why didn't they find anything else that was linked to the passengers?" Billie asked, her voice rising in frustration. "Something isn't right here and I need to know what it is. I can't just let it go."
