Have you ever considered that maybe God might be a misanthrope? I don't mean to blaspheme and I honestly wouldn't blame Him if He were because I rather believe He is a romantic, like me (though not as hopeless), we can’t help ourselves, seeing as we really can’t help who we love… even if they don’t return the favor.
There are worse fates I supposed.
