I awaken every morning
For what?
To just do the same thing's everyday?
People act like it's simple
The monotony keeps things moving
It isn't that simple for me
Everything has begun to feel hopeless
Like nothing moving forward
If I were to die would the sky turn purple?
No, it wouldn't
It would stay that same awful blue for eternity
I can't stand that feeling
You know the one
Like there is nothing you're working toward
The only thing that motivates you is
Being alive and breathing
That's not enough
It's not that simple
I need essence in everything I do
I need something to strive for
Everything is going back to normal
The same every day waltz of simplicity
The waltz of boredom
Dancing to dance nothing more to it
I hate it.
