Oranges come free from mother earth
Yet we sell them just cheap enough to buy
Sell by the plenty
To thicken our pockets
Sell them just cheap enough
To fund our rockets
A pointless endeavor
To journey to other planets
While the workers are slaving away
Just barely making enough
To pick another orange
Cut the wages of the workers
To thicken their profits
As long as they have their necessities
They can pluck from the tree
What Mother Earth
Gave us for free.
