Joey's POV 

Eli: "How long has it been?" 

Lily: "An hour." 

Eli: "An hour too long." 

Blear: "Don't worry Eli. Bulk and Bumblebee will be okay." 

Eli: "Any news Ratchet?" 

Ratchet: "Nothing yet." 

Me: "Calm down Eli. They will answer soon." 

I said as I placed my hands inside the pockets of my jacket. With one pair of fingers I was touching my phone with the other I was touching the box of cigarettes that I bought yesterday. I never smoke in front of my mom and my sister. Dad was a smoker. 

Shortly after the call came Bumblebee and Bulk returned to the base bringing something with them. Immediately as they came Ratchet placed medical supplies on them making sure they were okay. 

Bulkhead: "I told you, doc, we are fine." 

He said as he began to remove the medical supplies that were on him so he could stand up. Ratchet quickly approached him. 

Ratchet: "The only way to be certain you're fine, Bulkhead, is to endure the standard defrosting procedure. You know prolonged exposure to sub-zero conditions can cause permanent system damage." 

Pernamet system damage? Well, not many things could survive the cold of the Arctic. 

Optimus: "Ratchet, have you learned anything more about our article?" 

He asked as he approached us with Arcee next to him. 

Ratchet: "Not yet. The pod can't be opened while it's frozen solid." 

The pod that they brought with them was giant and did not look like something a human would do. Ratchet was certain that it came from Cybertron. 

Optimus: "Ready Arcee?" 

Arcee: "Of course." 

Lily: "Ready?" 

Me: "For what?" 

Optimus: "Arcee and I will search for any clue which might explain the origin of our artic find." 

He said as the bridge behind them turned on. 

Ratchet: "Only until your sensors sound. Remember, once your core temperature drops into the blue zone, system failures aren't likely-- they're imminent." 

He turned to look at Blear. 

Ratchet: "Why are you kids even here? Don't you all have school?" 

Blear: "On Saturday? Thanks to Primus not. We have the whole weekend off to spend with you Doc." 

She said with a smile making Ratchet roll his eyes. I looked at Acree who looked at me in the same moment. 

Me: "Will you be okay?" 

Acree: "Are you kidding? It's my turn for exploring duty and I am excited for it." 

Me: "I prefer warm weather." 

Acree: "We agree on that Joey." 

Lily: "Will you sure be okay?" 

She asked Optimus making me look at her. She was always so worried about him. 

Optimus: "I will return to you." 

She nodded with a small smile that I could see was fake as she was trying to hide her worried expression. Together Acree and Optimus left.
