Arcee's POV
Joey: "If anything happens to them because of my connection with all of this-"
Me: "Joey, Mech is only interested in me. Once they get what they want they will let your family go."
Joey: "We do not know that. And you are my family too."
I could feel that he was scared but he was also angry. So angry that his heart was beating as twice as fast as it should. But I understood him. They came after his family.
Coming to the location we were to meet them, immediately lasers were pointed at Joey's body as I stopped. Seven armed men were pointing their weapons at him from in front of us.
Joey: "What's the plan?"
Me: "The usual."
More men came from our right and with them was Silas. I slowly began to drive towards him but before he could realize I picked myself up so I could cover Joey with myself and began to drive towards Silas with great speed. I drove past him. Coming into a different room Joey went off me.
Joey: "Mom! Alice!"
Voice: "Looking for someone?"
Realizing who was behind us I quickly transformed into my original form and stepped in front of Joey.
Me: "Airachnid."
She pointed her hands at me and before I knew it her web was all around me.
Joey: "What are you doing here?"
He asked as he stepped next to me. Airachnid got a bit closer as Silas stepped next to her. I looked at him.
Me: "Help him. They are a human like you. You cannot let her-"
Silas: "A few human lives are a small price to pay for a miracle of science like yourself."
Me: "Joey!"
Before I knew it he ran at Silas hitting him hard in the face with his fist. Two army men came and grabbed a hold of him. Silas took a step back but as he looked back towards Joey I could see his mouth bleeding hard. Looking down at his hand I saw brass knuckle. It was covered with blood.
Joey: "You son of a bitch! Fight your own battles!"
Sillas smiled then he nodded to his men. An electrical ball came flying towards me and before I knew it, it knocked me out.
Joey's POV
Airachnid: "I am still learning about humankind, but one thing is clear to me Joey. You people care deeply about family. Therefore, the sweetest revenge I could devise would be to make you watch as I take your family apart."
She said as her face came close to mine.
Me: "If you hurt them-"
Airachnid: "You know how much I love my sport, right? So I'll allow you to save your mother and sister. I've stashed them close by."
She looked past me and I followed her gaze. There was a timer. 11:52.
Airachnid: "If you can secure them before the stroke of 12:00, I will let you and them walk away unharmed. Deal?"
I looked at her. I know what will happen to them if I do not make it in time.
Me: "Deal."
Airachnid: "Six minutes. You better run Joey."
