Chapter 2: The wolf boy I met that day

[A/N: An alpha can use their alpha voice only on an omega or their kids and it makes the receiver momentarily do whatever the alpha wants, also when the omega or kid hears it, it makes them feel physical pain.]

Yeonjun remembers the first time his "mother" Taehyung slapped him and his father Jungkook used his alpha voice on him.

It was when he was 15 and he was seen by an elder in the wolf village kissing another alpha.

Alpha x alpha relationships were uncommon, but not really something forbidden. But, it was the fact that Yeonjun was the heir to his father's position that caused the scandal.

Yeonjun had to mate an omega to be the head alpha, by tradition.

So, after this his parents straight away found him an omega to mate.

Yeonjun had always known Beomgyu, they had played together as kids, but now them being mates, it just seemed weird.

Yeonjun didn't want this.

Yeonjun didn't want to follow the rules.

He wanted to choose who to love.

Jungkook will always shout to Taehyung when he thinks that Yeonjun is asleep, that Taehyung gave birth to a weak alpha.

Yeonjun will try to keep his tears in check in times like these, repeating to himself that alphas do not cry, but sometimes he just won't be able to...

He really is a weak alpha...

One lonely early morning, a now 18 year old Yeonjun, was walking through the forest.

He told no one where he was going.

He just felt like running away that morning.

He soon stopped near a bush, looking through it, seeing a beautiful boy on his knees, picking herbs.

He could sense that he wasn't human, but he still wasn't sure what he was exactly.

Yeonjun growled out of frustration.

The boy seemed to not have not noticed him, so he decided to jump through the bush, so he did.

Now, the boy looked terrified.

The boy closed his eyes, so Yeonjun took the opportunity and checked what the boy was by sniffing him.

A witch!!!

"You know what witches smell like?" - The boy questioned.

Yeonjun felt the hurt in his heart and began stepping back and eventually ran away back into the village.

He ran into his house, and locked himself in his room, ignoring the angry stare Taehyung gave him, for leaving so early without saying anything.

Yeonjun leaned his back on his locked door and let his body slide down it...

You know what a witch smells like?

The question still lingered in his mind and he didn't want to think about how he knew what a witch smelled like.

"Yeonjun! You'll never tell your "mother" what you saw tonight!!!"

Yeonjun's image of his picture perfect family will forever be ruined by his father's affair with that witch.

"Yeonjun... stay away from a witch, it will eat your heart."

Later on his "mother" will tell him, when he found out about the affair.

Even though he was scared, even though he was traumatized, somehow at night time he found the witch boy's scent, which led him to a small bar in the town.

Yeonun had entered the town for the first time ever, he had only heard legends of human society.

Some wolf packs were living amongst humans, but some, the ones like his own, had chosen to stay completely hidden away from humans.

Most pups in his pack grew up never seeing or even hearing of the existence of humans or other supernatural creatures for that matter.

As soon as he walked into the bar he saw the beautiful boy behind the counter, even though he was facing Yeonjun with his back, he recognised him.

Yeonjun sat down on the stool in front of the witch.

The witch suddenly turned around shouting, startling Yeonjun.

"Welcome to Make Your Wish, what would you like, sir?"

Yeonjun's wolf right away started whispering to Yeonjun that this boy was mate material.

Making Yeonjun a nervous and awkward mess.

He had never expected to find the one, this quickly, but he was still very happy about it...

After the witch, whose name Yeonjun found was Soobin, made him a sweet cocktail, they talked a bit.

Yeonjun was feeling awkward so he lied to not liking being called cute or whatever, because he had no idea what to talk about, his alpha in love brain was blank.

He didn't know how they reached talking about Yeonjun's real frustration about him not knowing how to act intimidating as his father wished, though...

"That is what your dad wants, but what about what you want?" - Soobin stated with no hint of joking around.

Yeonjun looked at Soobin shocked, he had no right to call him out like this, this hurted his alpha pride way too much so he just decided to go home.

He continued showing up in the bar, though.

Yeonjun's wolf wanted to be close to Soobin, even if Yeonjun felt awkward to do so.

Everytime, Yeonjun would stare at Soobin, he would imagine a hundred scenarios of their future together. Which was crazy, because they weren't even friends yet.

He was smitten.

So, he decided that eventually he'll do something about it...
