Chapter 7: Seems like everyone else but me is happy

"Why are you here, again?" - Taehyun asked as he was looking at Beomgyu unimpressed.

They were standing at Taehyun's apartment's door.

"I like you." - Beomgyu said simply.

"You mean by that?" - Taehyun asked with a suspicious look in his eyes.

"I want to spend time with you..." - Beomgyu was sounding a little bit less confident now.

"You won't leave me alone until you get what you want, right?" - Taehyun asked while crossing his arms.

"Probably not."

"I guess you can come in, but that doesn't mean you should feel welcome."

Taehyun stepped aside from the entrance of the door to let Beomgyu in.

He led him to his room, while Jimin, who was playing with Huening Kai, looked at Taehyun confused from the couch in the living room.

"Does Tae-hyung finally have friends?" - Huening Kai asked his mother with a giggle.

"I hope, but I don't think so... Kai, do you want to play in the park?" - Jimin responded.

"Yes!"

Meanwhile, Taehyun and Beomgyu were sitting on Taehyun's bed, staring anywhere but at each other.

"You have a big room, wish mine was as big as yours?" - Beomgyu commented.

"Yeah, I know it's big. It's the biggest one in the house. It used to be my older brother's, apparently he liked big spaces." - Taehyun explained.

"It used to be Soobin's room?"

"No."

"O-okay."

"Hey, how do you know that Soobin is my older brother?"

"He is dating my friend, Yeonjun, isn't he? At least that was what Jun said..."

"It's a small world, isn't it..."

"Yeah..."

They were both feeling the awkwardness now.

They finally decided to look at each other, though.

Taehyun regretted it immediately, because he got reminded of how truly pretty Beomgyu was from this close.

And Beomgyu felt relieved that Taehyun was acknowledging him.

Taehyun narrowed his eyes at Beomgyu for a moment, which made Beomgyu jump away on the bed a bit.

"What?" - Beomgyu asked, startled.

"How dare you come into my room looking pretty."

"W-what???"

"Nothing." - Taehyun rolled his eyes and looked away.

"Do you want me to go home, then? If my prettiness is bothering you so much?" - Beomgyu asked completely innocently.

"Do as you wish." - Taehyun responded with crossed arms, still looking away.

"I don't want to go home. I never feel really at home when I'm there..."

"Why?" - Taehyun asked, curious. Still looking away, though. Focusing his gaze at the door of his bedroom.
