Chapter 6: It's as if I've forgotten how to smile

"How did you find me?" - Taehyun asked Beomgyu when he opened his home's front door.

"I followed your scent." - Beomgyu simply explained as looked at Taehyun with a warm smile.

"So, I've got a stalker." - Taehyun said.

"Seems like it." - Beomgyu replied.

"What do you want?"

"Your time."

"So... Why?"

"I like you. You're interesting to me."

"I see. Well, I'm not interested!" - Taehyun shouted with clear anger in his voice and was about to close the door on Beomgyu's face, when the wolf stopped the door with his foot.

"Ouch. That hurted more than I thought..." - Beomgyu complained in pain.

"Look. I just want us to be friends!" - Beomgyu pleaded desperately.

"No." - Taehyun said in a cold tone and closed the door.

"It's getting dark already? Shall we go home?" - Soobin asked Yeonjun as they were still laying under the three on their picnic.

Yeonjun looked up at Soobin from where he was laying on his chest and pouted, which made Soobin's heart beat fast.

"I don't wanna!!!" - Yeonjun whined.

"I... Stop being cute, will you..." - Soobin whispered.

"I won't." - Yeonjun said confidently and looked away, still laying on top of Soobin.

"Come on, baby!" - Soobin caressed Yeonjun's hair, making the wolf purr.

"Ok... but I still don't wanna, but I'll do it because you asked me to..." - Yeonjun still pouted.

He sat up, letting Soobin to do so as well.

Then Soobin fully stood up on his feet and offered his hand to Yeonjun, who happily took it.

Soobin pulled Yeonjun close to his face and attacked his lips, suprising the wolf.

Yeonjun soon calmed down and closed his eyes humming into the kiss, at which Soobin deepened the kiss.

When Soobin pulled away he was satisfied at the blushing mess he made out of Yeonjun.

Soobin patted the top of Yeonjun's head, playfully. At which Yeonjun hugged Soobin and the taller boy hugged him back.

"I'll miss you, Binnie..." - Yeonjun stated as he buried his face in Soobin's broad chest.

"Me too." - Soobin whispered and he hugged Yeonjun tighter.

"Will we meet again?" - Yeonjun mumbled in Soobin's chest, but the taller boy heard him.

"I don't think so... You know that we shouldn't..."

"You are right. But I don't want you to be..."

"Sorry, baby..."

Soobin was back in his room now.

He was laying on his bed, with his hand on top of his eyes.

He felt small tears running down his cheeks.

He really didn't want to pull away from Yeonjun, he wanted them to be still together.

Soobin was supposed to be working at the bar right now, but the moment he returned home, he started crying silently in Jimin's arms, who offered him to take a break tonight, Jimin will take his shift.

Soobin was so glad that Jimin understood what he was going through... he knew that there were people without understanding parents out there and was glad that Jimin was not so.

Soobin knew that he and Yeonjun were not meant to be, but he just wished to live in a fantasy world where they were...

Why did his heart betray him like this?

Why did it make him fall for that specific werewolf?

Was he destined to just continue to live a depressing life?

Soobin was in love before, once. With a human at that.

He never dared tell his ex-boyfriend of what he truly was, a witch.

He just disappeared from his life one day.

Soobin continued to watch him though. Watched him move on, get married, have kids and grow old.

Soobin even was at his funeral.

He felt cursed. Gifted with an never aging body.

That's why he was searching for somebody who would live with him for forever...

That's why he was glad that he fell for a wolf now.

But, it turned out it was the wrong wolf.

Just when Soobin had decided to go to sleep, so he would stop thinking of his stupid life, he heard something hitting his window.

He quickly opened his eyes and sat up in his bed.

He looked at his window and heard a howl outside of it.

He widened his eyes and opened his window with his mind.

Soon, the cute wolf boy Soobin had fallen for came into the room through the opened window.

"Binnie!" - Yeonjun shouted.

"Jun?"
