Chapter 11: As if nothing had happened

For the last 10 years, Yeonjun lived like a ghost in his own life.

He felt like running away every single day, but knew that he had nowhere else to go, so he stayed like the good son his parents wanted.

He had stopped crying a long time ago, and accepted his fate.

But now, when he realized that they saw each other again, he somehow felt a bit of hope in his longing heart.

Soobin looked a little different, a little bit colder and closed off, but Yeonjun knew that he wasn't mistaken, that this really was him.

It was his Soobin.

He quickly ran back to the heart of the forest to find him, again.

He wanted him back.

Wanted him to be there still, to be real!

"Soobin!" - He shouted desperately into the distance, knowing that there was no chance for the witch to hear him so far away, but he still hoped that he maybe had heard him, somehow...

"S-Soobin... I love you..."

Soon, Soobin, Taehyun, Huening Kai and Jungwon arrived at the waterfall.

Soobin, Taehyun and Heuning Kai’s eyes turned purple and a big hole formed from the waterfall.

“You’re not telling me we are going into this thing?” - Jungwon, asked.

“We are. This is the quickest way to go, where we wanna go.” - Soobin, explained.

“Okay…”

As they stepped towards the hole, Jungwon asked Soobin:

“Do you and Yeonjun have history? I felt some tension there?”

“What? No way!”

“Yeah, right…”

“Shut up, Won! That wolf is nobody for me.”

“That sounds like he was somebody before?”

“No, it doesn’t!”

“Yeah. Right.”

Then someone tapped Jungwon’s shoulder.

He turned around, a bit scared. Thinking that it’s one of the wolves, again.

“Hey, bro!!!” - Sunoo, shouted out.

“Su, what are you doing here?” - Jungwon shouted, worried.

“Is that Lord Lee’s newborn?” - Soobin asked, confused.

“Unfortunately, it seems so.” - Taehyun, answered instead of Jungwon. Taehyun’s special talent was clairvoyance. He could very clearly feel Heeseung’s aura from the boy in front of him.

“This is the first time we meet, right? You guys are Niki and Jake’s friends, right?” - Sunoo, asked.

“Yes.” - Was all Soobin decided to say.

He kinda felt something weird from this boy.
Like he was hiding something.

“Well, nice to meet you!” - Sunoo extended his hand towards Soobin and that made Soobin to step back.

“Yeah, nice to meet you, too.” - Soobin answered, looking away. He didn’t know why, but he felt kinda uneasy now…

He felt somehow stressed around Sunoo.
But he decided to shrug it off, it’s not his place to say anything.
