Chapter 4: An angel came

"Do you want to go on a date with me?" - Yeonjun asked after his straight forward confession.

"So, you like me, Yeonjun?" - Soobin, asked dumbfounded.

"Even more than, like."

"I don't know, Yeonjun... I don't think we should try anything... You're a wolf and I'm a witch."

"Who cares?"

"A few days ago I was scared of wolves and you looked like you didn't like witches."

"We are different, that's why we should be together."

"I don't really follow your logic...?"

"When an alpha is in love all logic is gone."

"Okay, let me think for a few days..."

"Okay. Can I court you during that time, though?"

"Court me?"

"It's something we alphas do to make our chosen mates like us more."

"Sure."

Over the last few days at his shifts in the bar, Yeonjun would show up bringing him some kind of gift.

First it was a big bouquet of roses. They were beautiful.

Then there was some kind of spaghetti dish, which Soobin couldn't pronounce, that was made by Yeonjun. It was delicious.

Then a crown made of only white flowers that he had made himself.

And now it was a silver necklace with a little wolf on it.

"Okay, so how about friday? I'm free that evening." - Soobin said.

"Free for what?" - Yeonjun, asked back, confused.

"Our date, what else, puppy?"

"Really!!!" - Yeonjun shouted loudly, very excited.

"Yes... But I'm still worried. I think we should be sneaky about it, I don't want to be killed by your pack or something..."

"To say that I'm not scared of that happening will not be the truth, so sorry..."

"Well, where will we be going?"

Taehyun was walking through the big forest looking for a place to practice his magic.

He wanted to be far away from his little brother Huening Kai, right now, he found the 7 year old way too annoying.

He soon reached a small lake he knew when he saw a boy already sitting in front of it.

"Hey! This is supposed to be my spot." - Taehyun announced sternly, standing next to the boy, now.

"I didn't know that this place was already reserved." - The boy said with sass in his voice.

He tore his eyes from the lake and looked at Taehyun and Taehyun would be lying if he didn't think that the boy was beautiful.

"Well... I..." - Taehyun forgot what he was saying looking at the beautiful boy.

"Should I just leave?" - The boy asked Taehyun.

"No! I... mean no. Just don't make sounds to distract me."

"What will you be doing? Wait! Let me guess! Are you... Are you perhaps a witch?!"

"Would you be this excited if I was?"

"Yep. I've never met a witch before? I've always heard scary things about them, but that doesn't stop me from being curious, you know! Well, are you or are you not!? Because, if you are, I want to watch your magic! You don't look scary by the way!"

"You talk a lot, don't you?"

"People have told me this before, but I don't care. My mind just works like that!"

"Uhm. Okay. Anyways, yes I am a witch. And you..." - Taehyun caught Beomgyu's hand and his eyes shifted to purple for a second, afterwards he let go of Beomgyu's hand and continued to speak:

"You're a werewolf, aren't you?"

"Wow, how did you guess?"

"Let's just say that secrets cannot be hidden from me."

"So cool!!!"

"Yeah, I know. I'm cool."

"You are kinda cute as well... Not as much as my alpha, though..."

"You.. have an alpha?" - Taehyun asked, sounding a bit distraught.

"Yes. Of course a healthy omega like me will already have one. He doesn't want me, though..."

"Why wouldn't he want you? You-"

"What about me?"

"You're pretty, I guess." - Taehyun decided to just be honest.

"Oh, thanks!" - Beomgyu smiled confidently.

He was ready to say something when his phone rang, it was his mother. He really wanted to stay and talk to Taehyun some more, he didn't have any friends anyways.

"I have to go." - He said sadly.

"Okay." - Taehyun simply answered with a serious expression.

"Will we meet again?" - Beomgyu asked, hopeful.

"If we happen to stumble here again at the same time, then yes."

"Okay... By the way, what's your name? I'm Beomgyu."

"Taehyun."

Beomgyu smiled, turned in his wolf form and ran away.
