George yelped and grabbed the plate of food, using it to block the axe. The silver weapon clattered to the floor.

George grabbed the knife from the table, his hands shaking. Whoever attacked him clearly knew how to deal with vampires.

And he had a good hunch of who it was.

Techno stepped out of the shadows, a wide grin on his face, his glasses reflecting the dim light.

"What the actual hell, Techno?" George spat at him. "Why are you doing this? Trying to be a yandere for Dream or somethi-"

Techno swiftly chucked a wooden stake at George, and George blocked it, stumbling back.

Techno chuckled. "You poor thing. how cute is it that you think I'd care about trivial things like romance? No, George, I'm here for you." The light-haired brunette pulled out another stake.

George narrowed his eyes, his breath heavy. "You're a vampire hunter."

"Good guess!" Techno laughed, pulling out a silver dagger and lunging at George. "I spent years searching for you and your family, the fabled vampires of the Notfound-Minecraft house. How ironic."

He pinned George down and raised the dagger. George's hands scrabbled at Techno's grip on his throat, gritting his teeth.

"What the fuck?!" Dream wandered with Sapnap, both of them looking like they just woke up.

Quickly, Sapnap grabbed a nearby glass and threw it at Techno, and Techno was forced to roll away as glass shards slid across the floor.

George stood up and ran towards Dream. Dream grabbed his arm, pulling him to stand between him and Sapnap. He then positioned himself slightly in front of George, as if to protect him.

"Techno, what the fuck?" Dream repeated.

Techno stood up, kicking the shattered glass off his shoes before grabbing his dagger again. "Dream, step away from the vampire."

George glanced at Dream in fear. Dream looked back at him for a split second, before bursting into laughter suddenly.

"What? George? A vampire?" Dream wheezed, and George forced himself to not look slightly offended.

"Techno, you're insane," Sapnap said, grabbing another glass.

Techno clenched his fists. "No. I'll show you. I'll prove it to you!" He lunged at George. Sapnap and Dream both moved to protect him when a brown blur flew at Techno's face, and Techno stumbled back.

Patches hissed and scratched at Techno's face, and Techno growled, grabbing her and throwing her off. Dream sprinted and caught her.

"We need to get out of here!" George yelled as Sapnap pulled out a fork and threw it at Techno.

Dream nodded, grabbing George's arm and pulling him towards the door. Sapnap tackled Techno and slammed him against the wall before following them.

Dream ran to the car, getting in the driver's seat. George got in next to him, and Sapnap climbed in the back seat, where Patches leapt to join him.

"NO! I'VE HUNTED YOU FOR YEARS! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!" Techno yelled, throwing the dagger at the car as Dream started it and drove down the street.

Techno was probably limping, as Sapnap had hit him hard enough to badly hurt one of his legs. George was too scared to look.

"Just keep driving. He can't run after us," Sapnap muttered, looking out the back window. George was shaking slightly, Patches curled up in his arms after rejoining him in the front seat.

Dream glanced at him. "You okay?"

George nodded slightly, looking away. He had lowered his guard, and by doing that, he had lured a hunter right into their house. He'd gotten his friends in danger. Dream seemed to notice his worry and put a hand on his shoulder. George was grateful for the gesture.

"Listen, George. It's not your fault. Clearly something is going on with Techno if he's insane enough to think that you're a vampire."

A pang of guilt shot through George's heart. If only Dream knew.

"So aaaanyway." Sapnap leaned forward, scratching behind Patches's ears. "What do we do now? We have an insane guy back at our house, and judging by his mental state, he'll probably chase us down to wherever we try to go."

Dream nodded, humming a tune George recognized as "Paranoid". Fitting for how Dream probably felt, and even more so for George.

George stared out the window, Patches quietly purring on his lap. He didn't know what to do. He needed help from people that actually understood him.

An idea popped into his head, and he sat up. "Dream, go to the nearest airport."

Dream glanced over. "What? Why? Where are we going?"

George took a breath. "Home. Back to my friends. My family."
