Chapter -3

Jasmine. POV.

Today is a hectic day as I have to go through so many files and have to send to the bosses which are necessary. I also have to check and audit all the reports. Mainly all of them are correct but it is better to be safe than sorry. I like to to strategic planning. So I also read about the new upcoming projects our company is going to partner and also made notes of the positive and negative point and also wrote down their impact on the company and the economy. I have many contacts with my friends due to which I was able to get the correct Information easily.

All I have to do was correct, audit,make strategic planning and leter send these files to Andrea who will later send it to the bosses. Basically I had no interraction with our bosses and I am happy with that. If the bosses asked for me then I will surely go and meet them.

I also got the information regarding the annual event of our company where all our employees are coming and also many of our business partners. It is basically an event for new projects which can be discussed freely without any formal pressure and for employees it is a joyful event where they get to eat and enjoy. This event is one week later. I am a new employee so this work is given to other department so that I won't be burdened as I am still learning.  And majority of the planning has already been done and now I am of no use to the event. Maybe I. The future I will be asked to handle it. I am thankful to bosses for that. And major thing is that I am also invited to this event. And the dress code for this event is evening gown and I have to buy that also.

I was busy throughout the day and had my lunch in my office only. I brough homemade lunch and also some fruits and salad . I was done with the work by 5:00 pm and it was also the time for me to leave. K took my belongings and said goodbye to Andrea who was waiting for the bosses to come as they will leave together. I was looking at the time on the phone when I collided with someone due to which the person who bumped into me was about to fall so I quickly held their hand and in instict I also held onto someone's blazer because the person I was holding was so heavy and due to momentum I was also about to fall . It looked like as if we all were attached by a strong. I quickly helped him up and said sorry to both of them and only then I realise that they are my twin bosses named Mark and Max. They were looking down at me in shock. I was continuously bowing as I know that I was the one at fault. By the time Andrea also came and told boss about me.

"It's okay. We were also at fault. By the way I am Mark the younger twin and your boss. Be careful next time. "

Mark said and extending his hand for the shake. When our hands touched I felt tingles and I guess it was dua to static electricity but Mark was unfazed as if I am the only one feeling it. I quickly took my hand away and Max also streched his hand out and I felt the same tingles and his reaction was also the same. I looked at my hand saw it was normal. I quietly touched Andrea's hand to see if I was feeling things but nothing happened. And then I saw Mark looking at me trying to hold his smile and Max has a smirk on his face and Andrea was looking at all of us confused.

I blushed and calmed my mood down. And then again I said sorry and said goodbye to all of them and left the office. On the way I again looked at my hand and found nothing unusual. It might be due to numbness. I shook my hand and left for my home where my bad was waiting for my tired body.
