Their Queen

Chapter-11

Jasmine. POV .

When I entered the kitchen everyone was smiling but said nothing and continued with their work. I took up the work of cutting and plating the salad. There were many of us and the work was distributed. There were also maids who were helping us setting up the dinning table. It was a warm atmosphere and I felt very accepted in between them. I don't know but they were very nice.

I have seen people fighting inbetween thier family and seeing a family who is taki g care of each other is warming and makes you want to join them.

I was responsible for cutting fruits and vegetables and unknowingly I dressed up the salad  on both the plates as a dragon.  I used to do it in my clan during my free time and I don't know what they will think of me. So I tried to rearrange the plates but the maids took it away when I was looking for another plate.

So I quietly followed all the girls to the dining table where again I was made to sit inbetween Max and Mark. They both were filling my plate with the food. When I said enough then only did they stop and strangely they all were my favourites. And then Adam, Christopher's brother said

"Even though we are dragons ,you guys don't have to

plate the salad that way."

U stopped eating and looked up at Adam's face who was tensed because he noticed me. Everyone was looking at me and Adam.
It was dead silent on the dining table and I saw Andrea looking at Adam who then with fake laugh said

"Just kidding. " and then everybody starting laughing.

I also smiled and started eating my food and then Andrea changed the topic to her baby and everyone started talking about baby's gender, clothes and other things.

I was eating was good with relish and just focusing on my food. And then Adam asked for my attention and said

"Jasmine, do you believe in dragons?"

"My clan worship Dragons. "

I replied and everyone was shocked at my response .

"Why Dragons? " Adam asked.

"It's a clan's secret and will only be known to clan's members and I have taken an oath . So sorry I cannot tell you  about my clan or anything more about this matter. "

I told him. Everyone was pondering upon my words. I also know that it feels weird but I can't as it is a secret which can't be exposed at will. Already our clan members have done so much to protect our secret and telling it to the people who you just met feels wrong.

After that no one asked me about anything and again topic shifted to business. After I was done with my eating I saw Max and Mark thinking deeply about something . I was worried and wanted to know about it but I kept silent.

After everyone was done eating we helped the maids to bring plates to the kitchen. After that we again sat down on the sofas in the drawing room and suddenly my phone buzzed and when I took out my phone and looked at it and  saw it was a message from the calm elder who has sent me the location and told me to rescue a  miracle baby.

I quickly got up which took everyone by surprise. Mark asked what happened and I said

"Oh nothing! It's just my friend from college who landed just right now and is waiting for me at the caffe and will be leaving within two hours. So I have to meet up with her otherwise I will not be able to meet her for another five years. "

"Then we will drop you . Tell us the address. "

Max said.

"No. I have brought my car and will use it. You guys don't have to worry. I will safely reach there and thank you for your hospitality. "

I told them  and said goodbye to everyone including my bosses and especially hugged Andrea goodbye.

I literally ran out of their Villa and started my car in a full speed and ima few seconds I was on the highway making sure I was driving carefully and praying that the baby remains safe.
