When I came to I was Underground, but this time I wasn't alone. Levi was asleep on the ground outside my cell when I opened my eyes. I could still remember him laying me down on the concrete ground and cuffing my arms with a regretful look on his face. I could remember asking him why he killed my mother in my half asleep stupor and I could barely remember him telling me. It seemed to be a freak accident when he was trying to get back his friend's money.

I did remember, however, him apologizing and telling me that he knew a "sorry" wouldn't change anything

I did remember, however, him apologizing and telling me that he knew a "sorry" wouldn't change anything. I remembered him telling me how much regret he had and the disdain for hisself.
He killed my mother, yet I wished I could wash his hands clean of it. I hated seeing him like that: grieving.
I came to terms with him killing my mother. Elise helped me realize that if it was that hard to hold onto there was no sense in keeping it. She taught me that love overpowers grief in every shape or form, no matter how hard Levi or I tried to run from either.
"Levi?" I asked weakly as I sat myself upright. I stared at his stoic slumbering face. He looked so peaceful for the first time in a long time. I hated to wake him. "Levi."
"Hm?" He asked groggily as his eyes flew open and he sat himself up. He crossed his legs and scooted forward toward the bars as he rubbed the sleepiness from his eyes. "I'm here."
He finally stopped rubbing his tired eyes and they finally met mine.
Ah, my pale blue sky.
I wasn't sure what to say to him. What was there to say? It was slightly awkward since I, you know, tried to kill him, but I couldn't help but wonder what would happen then.
"What's going to happen to me?" I asked finally as he tilted his head at me.
