An Affair? Chapter Fourteen

Helena's POV

I opened my eyes and looked around. They must have finished the chat thing. I sat up and rubbed my tired eyes. I got out of the bed and walked into Bandit's room. She was moving around. "Mama." She said reaching out for me to pick her up. I kissed her cheek. "Yes baby?" "Hungy." "Okay baby girl let's get you something to eat." I picked her up and put her on my hip before walking downstairs. "Gee?" I called. Where the hell was he? "Gee?" I called again. I looked down at Bandit. "Where in the world is your daddy?" She just lookedf around. I sat her in her highchair and poured some Cheerios into a bowl and placed them in front of her. She grabbed a fistful and shoved them into her mouth. I laughed and kissed her head saying, "I'm going to find daddy."

I walked into the living room. Everything was untouched. But Gerard's black iPhone sat on the couch's arm. I walked into his officed and he wasn't there. I went into every room and bathroom and closets. Then I thought, my office! Why would he e in there? I walked to my office to see the door opened a bit. I opened it wider and Gerard sat there, his mop of red hair framing his face as he hunched over something; a paper. He was biting his fingernail. "Gee?" He sat up quickly. "Oh, hey babe." "Love, what is that?"

"How come you never told me you wrote lyrics?" He asked. I looked down turning red and fiddling with my jacket. "Um, because I- I- never thought they were good enough for you to put on an album." He scoffed. "WHAT!!!??? Helena, these are amazing! These must go on the album!" He said standing up. "It's not Danger Dayish." "Helena, we are trying something new with this album! Trying to break out of the Black Parade! Have color and such! And this....this deserves to be in Danger Days." "Really?" "Really." He confirmed nodding. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

"I love you." He said. "I love you too." I murmured against his chest. The doorbell rang and I said, "I'll get it. You go watch Bandit." "She's awake??!" He asked with joy. I nodded and he bounded into the kitchen. I opened the door and our mailman was there. "Hi Helena." "Hey Jack how's the wife and kids?" "Great how's Gerard and Bandit?" He asked. "Awesome." he chuckled, "That's great. A package for Gerard. It's pretty huge. And here's your mail." I signed for the box and he handed the mail to me as he wheeled the box in. He hugged me. "See ya tomorrow." "Kay have a great rest of your day!" I called. "You too!" he called back.

I closed the door and called, "Gee? Your uh box is here." His footsteps came and it sounded like he was running. Then THUD. "FUCK!!!!!!" He screamed. I raised an eyebrow as he walked in straightening his pants. "I uh, tripped." I laughed and he shook his head. "THEY'RE HERE!!!!!!!!" He screamed running to get the package. He took it to the couch and sat. I went into the kitchen and put Bandit on her play mat where I could see her. I sat on the couch's arm and watched Gerard cut the huge box open. "Can you explain what is in there?" I asked.

"What we're using for the music videos. We each created our own character. I'm Party Poison. Ray is Jet Star. Frank is Fun Ghoul. And Mikey is Kobra Kid." I nodded and he added, "And I was the one who signed for the costumes to come here. And maybe we might use them live too." He picked a jacket up. One was a blue jacket with red and white. "This, is mine." he said in awe. He pulled out a clown yellow type eye mask and a yellow gun thing. He smiled widely. I found this adorable that he was so excited to see this.

He pulled out others and showed me as their characters. I held his jacket as he packed everything up. He hung his stuff up and then my phone rang. "HELENA I NEED YOU NOW!!!! IT'S PACKED!!!!!!" Kate shouted. I said I'd be there and hung up. I put on my combat boots and my jacket. "I have to go emergency at work love you bye." I said kissing him and Bandit. I drove to work and we started. It was nine and it had started to relax. Kate was on her laptop as I scrolled through Twitter. "Gerard has a girlfriend?? Affair what the fuck??!" Kate asked. I snapped up. "What??!" "Oh my God, Hun I'm so sorry." I typed in Gerard Way new girlfriend.
