STORY
The group was initially planned to debut in late 2021 but the label rushed the debut of the group in 2019.
In July 2019, Excel Entertainment announce the debut of their next girl group in early 2020. The label had a lot of responsibilities that weren't going to be handled due to the announcement coming out of nowhere.
At the time of the announcement, only 3 members had already been selected as potential band members: Reewon, Soa and Miko.
In August, Kasey was added to the list.
In September, Excel Music revealed that the group would number 7.
3 members were missing, but the remaining trainees of the label weren't ready to debut or weren't "talented" enough for debuting.
The debut was scheduled for 3 months from now, but nothing had yet been finalized, neither the final lineup nor their album.
In mid-October, under pressure from Excel, Jina, Chunja and Bora accepted to re-debut and became DIVINE's last member, just 2 months before their debut. They were chosen as the group's last rescuers.
