Background

Bora and Park Donggyu met as childhood friends in the same neighborhood. They were classmates during middle school and often spent afternoons hanging out at the playground or practicing dance together, long before either of them dreamed of becoming idols. Their bond started naturally, lots of teasing, shared snacks, and study sessions.

When they officially began "dating" in June 2018, only their closest circle of friends knew. For them, it felt like a natural extension of their friendship. Both were still young, and the relationship was innocent and sweet, mostly built on little moments like waiting for each other after school or encouraging each other during trainee evaluations.

As time passed, though, their paths began to split. Donggyu became more serious about training, while Bora entered intense preparations for DIVINE's debut. Schedules grew heavier, and by the time Bora officially debuted with DIVINE in January 2020, they barely saw each other. Their relationship slowly faded as they realized they couldn't balance friendship, love, and work at such a young age.

They decided to part ways in April 2020, but they stayed good friends at that time.
