Ceilings- AJxNiko

Part 6

Aj was pacing around his room, tears threatening to fall. Fuck. His heart was racing so fast he felt like it was falling out his chest. He couldn't breathe. It was all too much. He scrambles to grab his phone, scrolling to find that one contact. FUCK WHERE IS IT. He blindly presses the name and holds the phone as best he could to his ear.

"Yo whats up,"

"I- please- room- breathe. Help," Aj couldn't get words out, lump in his throats. He hoped the man on the other end of the phone would understand. In his dazed state he couldn't hear the response. The door bursts open and in runs Chunkz. He sees waving his hands around, uncontrollably, quick harsh breaths coming from the younger boy.

He walks up to Aj, grabbing him by his arms.

"Breathe Aje,"

But Aj couldn't hear Chunkz, he could only feel his presence.

Chunkz noticed the breathing hadn't slowed down, so pulls Aj into his chest, making sure his ear was placed over his heart. Aj grabs the arm Chunkz was using to keep his head in place using it for support.

"Follow my heartbeat Ley. Breathe intime with me, yh."

Chunkz guides Aj through his breathing, and before long it was back to somewhat normal. After minutes of silence, Aj breaths out, "I- what happened."

"You were having a panic attack, I thought the stopped Ley, what happened?"

Chunkz knew Aj used to get crazy anxiety attacks from when they met in the cinema. He found Aj in the back allyway struggling to breathe. Chunkz will never forget that moment, It was the thing that had brought them closer together. It was the day They vowed to be brothers for life.

"Oh. Thank you. I- they did stop. For a long time, but recently they came back. I don't know why..."

"No problem, Ley, you don't need to thank me though, I promised I will always be here for you and I mean it. Now, come with me,"

"Where are we going?" Aj questions.

"You'll see."

Aj blindly follows Chunkz to his car, Chunkz puts on 'Red Moon' Ajs favourite song at the moment, and silently drives to their next location. He hears Aj sing along, his voice was truly beautiful. Chunkz had always told him that, but Aj refused to believe it. Aj had written a few songs before, and had them recorded with his at home studio but never posted any of them. He was too scared to. Sure he has a few songs out, but these were a different style. These had proper meaning; his feelings for Niko.

Halfway through the drive, Chunkz had gotten out the car and came back with a Tesco bag. Aj didn't question anything. After 35 ish minutes of driving, Chunkz parked the car. Aj noticed this spot, he could never forget this place. Chunkz didn't say a word as he gets out the car and begins to walk. Aj follows him, although he didn't really need to. He remembers this place like the back of his hand.

Back in the day, when Chunkz and Aj first met Sharky, they'd discovered this place by accident, but it was their favourite. They were bored at decided to go on a walk, before they stubbled into the woods. They found a hidden pathway, hidden by the weeds and bushes. Behind the mess was a clearing, and clear it was. There was the most beautiful sight the boys had seen. The light sound of flowing water over took the silence the forest left behind and the softest grass you'd ever stumble upon. This place knew all their secrets; the place the boys went to on bad or good days. It didnt mean anything to anyone else, but it was theirs. and that was enough.

Aj and Chunkz were now sat on the edge of the river.

"Thank you. I've not been here in a while, I really needed to" Aj says sincerely.
