Ceilings- AJxNiko

Part 17

Aj awoke the next morning with an uncomfortable coldness on his back. He slowly opens his eyes as he remembers the night before. Niko had kissed him, and now he was gone again. How could he be so stupid, of course Niko didn't care, he was just trying to make Aj feel better. Tears welled in his eyes, as he sits curled into a ball against the headboard of Nikos bed. Niko had left him again. Just then Niko walks back into his room, and sees Aj. He runs towards the boy, wrapping his arms around Aj, pulling him till he was nearly on his lap.

"Shhh Aje, it's ok. I'm here." Aj looks up at Niko, sniffing, wait he didn't leave?

"I-I-thought you l-left me again," Aj sniffles out, he knows how he sounds right now, but there is nothing more he wants than being close to Niko right now. 

"Oh no, Aj. I just left to clean up your room, I was coming back, I promise I'm not going to leave you." Niko says, it kind of hurt that Aj immediately thought Niko would leave him, but he didn't blame him either.

Aj nods curing further into Nikos chest, "Im sorry Nik," he whispers. 

"Shhh, dont be sorry Aje," Niko says, rocking Aj back and forth, placing a light kiss too the side of his head. Aj is fully calm by now, enjoying sitting here in Nikos embrace. After all the chaos in the world, it was finally calm.

After a while, Aj's stomach rumbles and he lets out a little giggle. 

"Ok Aje, lets get you some food." Niko says, joining in Aj's laugh.

Aj nods, although he was terrified to eat. He wasn't eating cause he thought Niko wouldn't want him anymore if he did. But he would do it for Niko if that's what he wants.

The boys head downstairs, only to find the others sat on the island table making breakfast. Ok not making, more like heating up ready to eat pancakes. Yes it was 3 .p.m. but they'd hade little sleep the day before for obvious reasons. The boys smile welcoming the two downstairs. 

"How you feeling, Aj?" Sharky asks, as Aj takes a seat beside him. 

"I'm as alright as I can be i guess" he shrugs, he knew he'd have to tell the boys everything soon, but he didn't want to. Not that he didn't want them to know, but they'd treat him differently. Comfortable conversation fills the room as Chunkz places each persons plate infront of them. Aj doesn't even look at his plate, trying to continue the conversation. Niko sees Aj's clear avoidance of the food, so pulls Ajs plate towards him, and cuts Ajs pancake into equal pieces. Niko feeds himself some of his own pancake, and grabs Aj's fork stabbing the piece and bringing it to Aj's lips. Aj looked in shock, how had Niko noticed? He blushes as he opens his mouth, taking the piece in. And it continued like that, until they finished their food. Whilst Aj spoke Niko would take a bite of his own food, and if anyone else was speaking he would feed Aj. 

They slowly filter into the cinema  room, that's usually where they had their Beta meetings or had serious chats, and Aj knew it was time. He sits beside Niko in his usual place, whilst the others sat facing him. 

Chunkz sensed Aj's discomfort, so he tells him "Ley, you don't have to tell us if you don't want to. As much as I'd  love to know, so we can be here for you, If you want to wait, you can wait."

Aj nods, biting at his fingers, a habit he'd had ever since he was a kid, "I-I I want to tell you guys, I need to, If i don't say it now I don't think I ever will. Its not what you'd expect, and I don't want you guys to hate me or treat me different."

Niko pulls Ajs legs over his own, then places is hand on Aj's thigh, sending shocks through Aj's body, "Aje, we'd never hate you. No matter what happened, and we'd never treat you differently. We just want to know so we can help you."
