As I glanced past Ero, observing his bleeding hands and Adrian's protective stance, a wave of confusion washed over me. Adrian interposed himself between us, shielding me from Ero's intense gaze. "I'm sorry, he's not your father, right?" Adrian's laughter rang hollow, adding to the surreal atmosphere enveloping us. Unsure of what to believe anymore, I could only watch as the tension between them simmered beneath the surface.

Adrian's words cut through the air like a knife. "I thought you'd never return because that's where you belong," he uttered, his tone filled with bitterness. My heart sank at his callousness, and I instinctively stepped in between them, pleading with Adrian to leave Ero alone. But Adrian remained unmoved, his voice barely a whisper as he confessed, "This is why I sent a message to the demon to come and get you." Dread coiled in the pit of my stomach, realizing the gravity of his words and the danger looming ahead.

"You what?" Ero's horrified gasp echoed through the tense air as Adrian's revelation sunk in. Without hesitation, Ero erupted in a storm of fury, delivering blow after blow to Adrian while accusing him of betrayal. "It's you who belong there, you traitor!" he seethed with every punch. Fearing for Adrian's safety and desperate to end the violence, I intervened, grasping Ero's arm and begging him to cease his assault. "Stop it!" I pleaded, my voice strained with emotion, hoping to quell the escalating confrontation before it escalated into irreparable harm.

As Ero angrily shrugged off my attempts to restrain him, I stumbled and fell to the ground. My heart raced with fear as he continued his assault on Adrian, his punches relentless and fueled by rage. Adrian lay motionless on the ground, defenseless against the onslaught. With a pained cry, Ero's frustration boiled over, his movements erratic as he paced back and forth in a storm of anger. Meanwhile, I lay beside Adrian, feeling the sting of a split lip from the force of being brushed off earlier. Ero's lack of control was evident as he continued to shout and act out in aggression, leaving us both helpless in his wake.

As Adrian struggled to his feet, determination burned in his eyes. "I'm going to expose who you really are, and ensure you're permanently expelled from here," he declared with resolve, his voice steady despite the pain. A smirk played across his lips as he challenged Ero's confidence. "Who's going to believe you?" he taunted, his grip tightening on Ero's collar. With a firm hold, he confronted Ero directly. "You never belonged here," he asserted, his words carrying a weight of truth that pierced through the chaos of the moment.

As Ero's fury reached a boiling point, his eyes ablaze with rage, I felt a shiver of fear run down my spine. Adrian's apparent enjoyment only seemed to fuel Ero's wildness further. "You—" Ero's voice cracked with intensity as he pointed an accusing finger at Adrian. Suddenly, Ero's dark scar began to glow ominously, his grip tightening on himself, causing him pain. With a swift movement, he lunged at Adrian, a knife gleaming in his hand. "You are the reason I'm in this mess," he roared, his voice filled with venom as he brandished the sharp blade. My heart pounded in my chest as I watched the scene unfold, paralyzed by fear and uncertainty.

My heart pounded in my chest as I watched in horror as Ero lunged at Adrian with the knife, his words dripping with venomous rage. "This is what you want, so die as a human!" he shouted, his movements fueled by a desperate anger. Adrian, seemingly unaware of the danger, continued to watch Ero's outburst with a twisted sense of enjoyment. "Adrian!" I cried out, my voice shaking with urgency, desperately hoping to snap him out of his trance before it was too late.

Ero's hand moved for a deeper stab, I acted on instinct, grabbing the knife in a desperate attempt to prevent the attack. Agonizing pain shot through me as the blade cut deeper into my skin, and I cried out in anguish. "Stop it, Ero!" I pleaded, my voice trembling with pain and fear. With a horrified expression, Ero dropped the knife to the ground, his hands dripping with blood. Adrian's voice rang out in worry, but I couldn't focus on him, my attention solely on Ero. "You need to stop this," I implored, my voice laced with urgency as I tried to reach him through the haze of anger and pain.

Despite the searing pain coursing through my hand, I summoned a smile, my voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know who you are or what happened between you two, but this isn't the way," I said, my words laden with empathy. I felt Ero's anger begin to dissipate as he looked at me, his guilt evident in his eyes. "I believe you," I added softly, hoping to reach him on a deeper level.

Before I could say more, Adrian intervened, pulling me away from Ero's grasp. "What the hell are you doing?" he demanded, his concern evident as he inspected my injured hand. Ignoring Adrian's protests, Ero's guilt transformed into aggression once more as he slammed me against the wall again. "Do not pretend like you care. You and him make no difference," he spat out, his words tinged with bitterness.

Sighing in frustration, I reached out to Ero again, concern evident in my voice. "You're bleeding, let's go to the infirmary," I urged gently. But he pushed my shoulder aside, his determination unwavering. "My revenge is not over yet, Adrian," he declared, his words dripping with unresolved anger and bitterness as he walked away. Watching him go, I couldn't shake the sinking feeling in my chest, knowing that the turmoil between them was far from over.

As I stood there, grappling with a whirlwind of emotions, Adrian's concerned gaze met mine. "You okay?" he inquired gently, reaching out to touch my palm. "I'm sorry," he added, his voice filled with sincerity. Unable to find the words to respond, I remained silent, the weight of the situation pressing down on me.

"Why did you have to do this to Ero? I heard you were playing with his past," I questioned, my voice tinged with frustration as I attempted to walk away. However, Adrian pulled me into a warm embrace before I could get far. "I love you," he whispered, his arms enveloping me in a comforting embrace.
