She stood there, rooted to the spot, her hands clenched in fear and her mouth hanging open in shock. She looked like a deer caught in headlights, completely helpless in the face of the unfolding nightmare.
As the demonic figure approached me, his twisted grin sending shivers down my spine, he taunted me with his words. "You've got more surprises up your sleeve, Ero," he sneered, his voice dripping with malice as he reached out to grab me by the neck.
"Come on, let's have ourselves a little happy ever after," he chuckled darkly, his grip tightening around my throat as he dragged me closer to him.
His massive hands closed around my back, like vices intent on ripping my wings from their sockets. "Give me what I deserve," he growled, his voice dripping with venom. "It's time for me to enter heaven, just like you do freely, after killing the king's son."
I screamed in agony as he yanked at my wings, the pain radiating through every fiber of my being. The sound of my anguish echoed through the neighborhood, darkness and fire consuming everything in its path. It was as if he had transported us to a realm where humanity was oblivious to our existence, a realm of shadows and despair.
Through the chaos, I locked eyes with Isabelle, standing frozen in horror as she witnessed the nightmare unfolding before her. In that moment, I wished I could shield her from the darkness that threatened to consume us both, but I was powerless against the demon's relentless onslaught.
The wings were torn from my skin, a faint pain coursing through me as the demon's evil laughter pierced the night sky. He was joined by his two cronies, their twisted forms looming over me like vultures circling their prey.
"He's too weak, and I guess it's a waste I brought you two here," the demon sneered, his voice dripping with contempt as my large, black wings unfurled before him. His confusion was palpable as he stared at the unexpected sight.
"What's this?" he demanded, clearly expecting angelic wings to adorn my back. But through my suffering, I managed to muster a smile. "Aren't I a demon too?" I taunted, reveling in the shock that flickered across his grotesque face.
But before the demon could retaliate, a massive rock came hurtling towards him, courtesy of none other than Isabelle. "Leave him alone, you ugly demon!" she shouted, her voice filled with defiance as she stood up to the towering monstrosity before her.
The demon barely flinched as the rock bounced harmlessly off his head, a mocking smirk playing across his twisted features. Isabelle may have been small in comparison, but her courage knew no bounds as she stood her ground against the forces of darkness.
He slammed me to the ground, his eyes locking onto Isabelle with a mixture of disgust and malice. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the little human who decided to stick her nose where it doesn't belong," he snarled, his voice oozing with contempt.
As he sauntered menacingly towards her, flanked by his sinister posse, Isabelle took a cautious step back, her uncertainty palpable in the air. My heart sank as I watched her retreat, her bravery waning in the face of such evil.
"I think I'll pass on those wings, sweetheart. After all, you're the reason he's still kicking," Isabelle declared, her voice wavering with fear but holding onto a stubborn determination.
But the demon just chuckled darkly in response. "What are you gonna do, huh?" he jeered, his arrogance practically dripping from his words. "Your blood looks pretty pure to me. Wanna have some fun? And hey, how 'bout a trip down to hell? It's a real blast," he taunted, his words sending a shiver down Isabelle's spine as she struggled to keep her composure in the face of such malevolent threats.
