Karina stretched in her bed. Wait, this is not her bed.
"Morning, princess," she heard Minjeong's voice.
The thick blanket covered her view, she pushed the blanket away. Minjeong is standing in front of the full length mirror, combing his hair to the side. He's wearing black polo shirt with dark grey trousers. And his glasses completes his looks.
"I don't have anything scheduled today. I would love to send you off to work today, if you're willing, that is," Minjeong stared at her through the reflection.
"Ugh, but I don't want to go to work," she whined, covering herself up with the blanket. Smells like him. Minjeong found Karina to be adorable, a 360 change from her personality outside.
"I'll be waiting for you downstairs. The towel is in the drawer in the bathroom."
Downstairs, he found Jisoo wrapped up in Jennie's arms.
"Morning!" he greeted.
"Well, aren't you chippy this morning," Jennie teased.
He glared at Jennie, "I'm going to borrow your girlfriend real quick." He looked around, no Chaewon. Great, he's safe.
He sat next to Jennje, "Karina is sleeping in my room. Miss Jisok, could you please move her stuffs into my room?"
Jennje widened her eyes, "Wait, what? How?"
"It's only temporary. Couldn't risk it with Chaewon being here," he explained.
"You mean, she is now in your room?" Jisoo continued to speak.
Minjeong nodded, "Yeah."
Jisoo kissed his sister, ew, not his sister.
Jisoo made her way upstairs, she opened the door and found a Karina-shaped lump on the bed. She pulled the blanket away with every strength she had left.
Karina looked at her as if she had cursed her. "What?"
"Shower now. You are going to be late," Jisoo said while still holding the blanket.
"Ugh, I told you I don't want to do this," she protested.
Jisoo sighed, "They're going to call you a diva, you know."
"Fine, fine. But if I don't like it, I'll just call it off, okay?" Karina stomped her feet on the floor.
Karina entered Minjeong's bathroom. A claw footed bathtub sat proudly next to the full length window, the glass shower next to it. Minjeong's body wash, shampoo, and other skincare arranged neatly on the shelf. She took out a towel from the drawer and spent a good 10 minutes in the shower. Getting lost in Minjeong's scent.
She stepped out of the bathroom feeling awaken. Jisoo had already moved her stuffs over. She had also made the bed.
"Thank you, Jisoo. Where's Aeri?" she asked while trying to get her dress on.
"Half day. These past few days had been hectic. So it's only you and me this morning," Jisoo replied.
Jisoo helped Karina to do her hair while Karina did her own makeup.
"When are you going?"
"I don't know. Maybe in the next month or two."
"Will you be long?"
"Well, it depends."
"On what?"
"On whether I succeed or not."
The clacks of her heels could be heard, halting the conversation between the two siblings. "Wow, you look gorgeous," Minjeong complimented her. "Um, breakfast?"
"I don't eat at this hour," Karina rejected.
"Oh, what about coffee?"
"Coffee should be fine."
Minjeong jogged to the kitchen, grabbing coffee to go. The house seems oddly silent. Ah, Yizhuo is not here.
