32 - ☆: pretty girl.

A week passed and the curiosity about Jungwon's girlfriend still lingered in Yerim's mind. As much as she thinks of it, she still doesn't want to ask about it directly to him, or else it will be obvious that she is jealous out of nowhere because she and Jungwon aren't a thing.

"Yerim, are you okay?" Minji became worried seeing how Yerim didn't talk much for a week, her face showed that she was thinking about something. "I'm fine, it just I didn't sleep well lately." Yerim smiled as she didn't want to make Minji worried about her.

"There must be a reason behind it, come on tell me, Moon Yerim." Minji tries to force Yerim to tell her about it, as she's ready to listen and give a piece of good advice for her. Minji straightened her seat while waiting for Yerim to tell her, she had no choice but to ask Minji about it.

"Minji, I want to know.. if there any pretty girl in this school before or in our class." Yerim swearing herself inside as she realized why she asked such a stupid question. To have a pretty girl in this school, of course, there's a lot.

"Pretty girl? I'm not sure but if you asked someone that close to us. I think of this one person." Yerim was surprised when Minji said that to her, that was unexpected because Yerim thought she would be confused about why she asked that.

"Her name is Rachel, she used to be part of this class."

"She really pretty, that almost every day she received a gift from everyone."

"Oh! I just noticed that your hair and her are almost the same, long and brownish."

"And her seat in this class is your seat right now."

Yerim kept herself silent after hearing what Minji had told her, her mind was thinking if that girl was the one his mother labeled as Jungwon's girlfriend. After hearing how gorgeous she was, it's like she stands no chance for Jungwon. "Minji, is there someone that she is closest with?" asked Yerim as her curiosity increased.

"Uhm, as what I always saw.. she closer to Jungwon."

"They always together, going somewhere together, doing something together, until there's rumors saying that they were dating."

"But no one really knows, if they actually are."

"And since she moved to LA, Jungwon no longer laughs as much as when he is with her."

Feel like a glass shattered inside Yerim, as what she thinking is true. There are small chance that Jungwon still loves that girl, as Minji mentioned that he changed right after that girl moved. He probably still can't forget about her, and waiting for her to come back.

"But why'd you ask me that question?" Yerim came back to her senses after being lost in her mind full of overthinking. "Nothing, I'm just bored and want to know who's the prettiest in this school." Yerim faked her smile as she didn't feel good at all but was forced to look like it in front of Minji.

"Ayy, you're supposed to ask it properly before. Of course, I'm the prettiest in this school." Minji showed her pretty face in front of Yerim while posing a bit, Yerim just laughed seeing how Minji always tried to make her come out of the sadness.

"Yerim, Jay want to see you." tell someone suddenly. Yerim got up as she saw Jay waiting for her outside of her class, but at the same time, Jungwon just coming back from the library.

He saw Jay waiting outside of their classroom, Yerim and Jungwon's eyes met as she walked to go outside. She noticed how he sharply staring at her, but Yerim just ignored it.

"Yerim, can't believe you're joining the hiking trip too!" Jay excitedly said that as soon as Yerim stood in front of him, Yerim saw how he was genuinely excited by seeing the level of his excitement is 100% on top of his head.

'Too? Meaning that he's one of the seniors that will join?' thought Yerim, but she didn't get it why he was excited about it. It's not usual excitement but overly excited. He can't stop smiling that showing fully his front teeth.

"Yes, I'm actually didn't want to join it but the teacher said I must go," responded Yerim as she only joined in force feeling. "Huh? You better join it. Promise me you must come, Yerim." Jay showed his little finger to make a pinky promise to her.

"Jay, I don't think that this is necessary. Don't worry, I promise that I'll come." Yerim lets down Jay's finger as she doesn't want people to misunderstand them when seeing those. However, he still wants Yerim to make a pinky promise to him and doesn't want to leave before she does it.

"Will you promise me?"

Yerim hesitates as she still isn't in really good mood and her mind is still messed up thinking about Jungwon and his girlfriend, but now Jay comes to add the heaviness.

"Promise." Both of their little fingers joined to form a promise that Jay requested.
