33 - ☆: hiking trip.

It's today, d-day the students that get picked for the hiking trip gather up at the location that is already set by the teachers. The trip will be held for 3 days and 2 nights, and they'll hiking on the second day. While the first day will be the day they have fun.

"Everyone listen up! Please be careful through the moment we are all here. Don't do something that is prohibited to nature, or else you'll be sent to disciplinary actions." told the teacher as he explained the rules before their start.

"In case you need help but there are no teachers around you, you can ask Yang Jungwon, Park Jongseong, Ahn Yujin, or Oh Haewon to ask for help." continued him, everyone nodded meaning understood.

"Yerim, this gonna be fun, really!" whispered Minji beside Yerim as she only smiled and could see how excited Minji was at the moment, she really does love pink because her bag pack also a pink color.

"Yerim, if you need help just ask me. I'll be there always for you."

Approach Jay suddenly, he's one of the leaders on this trip. He also lives a privilege like Jungwon, that's why he got picked by the teachers. However, if she needs help, it's better for her to ask a girl leader instead of Jay or Jungwon.

"You shouldn't too focus with me, seems like someone else might need your help more than me."

Replied Yerim as she didn't want to add the headache thinking about the man around her, she also finally accepted and enjoyed the time while she was there. Jay lost his words as Yerim just walked away leaving him behind when the teacher told everyone to put up a tent for the first day they were there.

On the other sight, Jungwon was there watching the interaction between Yerim and Jay. Since he saw Yerim and Jay meeting outside of their classroom the other day, she no longer seems close to Jungwon. They did meet in Jungwon's house but it's like he's talking with a robot, really formal and awkward.

Jungwon was thinking what is possibly he doing wrong to her? He also assumed that Yerim likes Jay, and that's why she trying to stay away from him. If it's true, he might really can't accept it as Yerim has already stolen his heart from him and he can't stand she with another man other than him.

"Minji, can you help me with this?"

Yerim looked up at her as she was struggling to put up the tent by herself, she was supposed to build it with Minji but she had probably gone to find some woods to burn it for tonight.

"Let me help."

Jungwon came to give a hand as he had been staring at her for a while and saw her struggling. Yerim stepped backward as Jungwon stood too close behind her, their hand also touched each other because of that. While Jungwon helps her put it up, both of them only stay quiet like they don't know each other.

Both of them don't know of how to start a conversation, Jungwon wants to talk with her but like usual Yerim always looks uninterested in front of him. Yet, he needs to make a move before Yerim gets further away from him.

"Yerim, don't you want go to the river over there? You can see a waterfall too."

Yerim looks up to Jungwon who just asked her to go there, actually the reason she's trying to stay away from him is because Jungwon doesn't seem want to ask why she's like that. She's aware that she is jealous of that Rachel girl but Yerim wants Jungwon to persuade her and calm her down too.

"Uhm, but I'd rather stay here-"

"You shouldn't waste a beautiful sight, I want to go there..

"With you."

Jungwon's face was full of hope and his eyes in pleading for Yerim to agree with him, as he dying to have time together with Yerim in front of the waterfall. He wants nature to witness their first sweet moment, with the girl he loves and wants to keep forever.

"Fine."

Yerim walks beside Jungwon to that river he mentioned, her heart actually into it as she couldn't imagine what if Jungwon just respected her decision early to stay at the tent, she would regret it for the rest of her life. Meanwhile, Jungwon hides his smile as he imagines what if Yerim rejected his offer for the second time. That is such a waste.

As both of them already arrived, turns out that only both of them were there, Yerim was worried as the area was a bit slippery, she could fall there anytime in front of Jungwon and she wouldn't want to face him any more out of embarrassment.

"Are you sure we can stay here? What if the teacher gets mad at us?"

As Yerim saw none of the other students there, it was suspicious and weird for only both of them there. She didn't want to take a risk as she was not ready to face disciplinary action later.

"Don't worry, it's not even dangerous in here."

Jungwon gives his hand to prevent Yerim from slipping on the slippery stone. Her eyes were looking into the hand that he offered to her, she was thinking if she should touch his hand but that's a better option rather than falling and embarrassing herself. Who knows, they become close again because of the river and waterfall.

"Oh, look! There's a rainbow at the waterfall!"

Yerim jumped a bit as she was excited seeing how beautiful is it, she's lucky to see that moment in front of her which was a rare sight. But then, due to being excited her feet slipped and she fell into the river.

Luckily Jungwon was there and caught her by grabbing her waist but unfortunately, both of them ended up falling together. Jungwon quickly helped Yerim to go up before she drowned as he saw she didn't know how to swim.

Now that their clothes are wet because of that, they are supposed to only watch a waterfall and soak their feet but end up doing a 'River bathing'. Yerim feels guilty because of that, if she had been careful just now this wouldn't happened.

"I'm sorry.."

Yerim lowered her gaze as she was afraid Jungwon might be mad at her. But Jungwon only kept himself quiet and didn't respond to anything, did he really going to be mad?

"I'm glad, I'm the one here with you. That scares me, Yerim. What if you drowned earlier?"

Jungwon's eyes seemed like he was about to cry, instead of expecting him to be upset, he turned out to be worried of her. He suddenly pulled Yerim into his embracement, as he couldn't imagine if anything bad happened to Yerim.

"Jungwon, what's wrong?.. I'm fine, as long as I'm with you, nothing bad will happen."

Assured Yerim as her hands patted his back and just let him hug her for the time being until he felt calm and took his time. Yerim mesmerized the rainbow in front of her while both of them still hugging each other, her lips formed a smile as she was happy that the rainbow was like her lucky charm.
