CHAPTER SIX , PAGE SEVEN

SECOND PERSON POV.

"Do you want to talk about it.?" Daniela asked. You looked up at her. The sides of your mouth are stitched up

You were about to say yes. If you said yes a huge load would be lifted off your chest.

She doesn't care.

You closed your mouth and shook your head and Daniela nodded. She pulled you closer and you relaxed. This was nice.

Then you closed your eyes. Taking deep inhales while you just think to yourself, your mood already being better

"Thank you. Daniela." You whispered. She chuckled

"What are friends for.?" She responded. Her hand still rubbing your back. You smiled. Friends.

Thats nice.

Your mind went blank, making you believe that you fell asleep.

Your eyes fluttered open, the fireplace was a warm orange casting a faint glow on the room

Your eyes fluttered open, the fireplace was a warm orange casting a faint glow on the room. You noticed that you still lay in Daniela's arms as before. Meaning she didn't move.

"Daniela." You whispered, and your voice sounded like a faint croak.

"Yeah.?" She asked. The ambiance of the fireplace cracking calming your nerves. Calming you in general.

"I want to...talk about it." You said, your eyes blinked slowly. She slightly moved, she was cold. You should have noticed that when you first were in her arms but she felt chilly. Like an ice box.

Telling someone about it.. truly makes you feel like a pressing weight is getting lifted off your chest.

You and Daniela have supposedly been only friends for.. a week.? Maybe only a few days, and you can't even open up to Chris. But Daniela.. god why are you opening up to her.?!

Telling the story makes your heart shatter time again, and makes you want to cry. Maybe even hang yourself alone.

Always alone.

"My.. my wife died. You know that part." You whispered. She nodded.

"But— she died from... she was killed-" you cut off before tears welled in your eyes.

" right in front of my face." You said, your voice cracked. Closing your eyes.

"I screamed. I struggled against Ethan.. against Chris but-"

"I couldn't save her.. she died because I couldn't break free.." that was supposedly your breaking point because you cried.

Daniela looked at you. She brought me into another hug. This time it wasn't "awkward." It was like she knew how much pain and hurt you were going through.

"What was her name..?" Daniela asked softly.

"Margret.." you said. Tears slid down your face.

Your heart broke. Just as it did when she died

Daniela was still clutched onto you while you cried.

It was painful. For you to be crying, even after 3 years you still cry like a baby. When hearing the name. Coming to terms with

She's never coming back.

A/n short because it was a continuation, lmao. But the actual chapter 7 will be out soon.!
