- Your POV

We couldn't find Will for a few minutes. Dustin was yelling out for him. Then we found Will's mom she looked scared and was also searching for him. Lucas came through the door and told us he was out on the field.

All of us rushed outside and saw him. He looked possessed. His mom started shaking him trying to get him out of his trance. Absolutely nothing was working. When he did wake up, he looked petrified. His mom immediately took him home.

We followed close behind them when they were leaving the school. "Okay, that totally freaked me out. Did that not freak you guys out?" Max spoke up. "Two episodes in two days." Lucas pointed out "It's getting worse." Mike said. "You think it's true sight?" Lucas asks. "What's true sight?" I asked him. "It's nothing," Lucas tells me.

I went home for the day, trying to process what just happened. I got my Walkman out and put on Venus by Frankie Avalon. Decided to walk around town for a bit. Went to the store and bumped into this dude, he looked a bit older than me, maybe around 9th grade. "Sorry." I apologized. "You're fine, Harrington." The boy said. "Oh, you know me.." I sighed. "Who doesn't know you guys." He chuckled. I just smiled. "How about a number?" He laughed.

"How about a name," I said back. He laughed again "Aaron." I looked around for a piece of paper. "Here I got one." Aaron handed me it and I wrote my number down. He smiled and I rushed away. Came back home around five with a bunch of snacks in my hands. Ate nothing except that then went to bed.

The next day I met up with Max. We had to look for Dart in the garbage behind the school in the morning. Everyone except the one who caused this was here. "This is seriously gross guys, maybe darts not in there." I tried to get them to leave. "We won't know until we search," Mike said. I sighed.

"What the hell is going on?" Dustin finally arrived. "What do you think? We're looking for dart." Mike told him. Lucas threw trash bags out of the can which almost hit Dustin. "Look who finally decided to show up. After I drew the short straw, real convenient" Lucas said in an annoyed tone. "You stink!" Max pointed out to Lucas, she went over to Dustin's side. "Hi Max." "Hi?"

"Where's Will?" Dustin asked Mike. "He'll be here." He told him. Lucas got tired and threw a stick at him so he could poke through the bags. I looked at Lucas and sprayed some perfume on him, kiwi scented, and he thanked me.

When we went to science class Will still wasn't here. I noticed Mike looked worried. After lunch, I went to my third period, a boring class until I got pulled out. "Harrington, you're going home for the day." The teacher told me. I got up pretty confused, my parents were at work so there wasn't anything planned for the day.

When I went outside I saw who it was. My brother, Steve. "Why are you pulling me out of class for?" I asked him. "Look, I just need you to come with me to buy something." He explained. I gave him a look. "Also you better be glad I got you out or else you would've been in this shit hole for another hour now cmon." He told me sternly. "Alright. Alright extra mad today I guess." I whispered the last part. Billy probably pissed him off again or something.

We went to the grocery store for some flowers. Then drove around Nancy's neighborhood contemplating whether he should give her them today. I sighed "You're wasting my time Steve!" I yelled at him. "Just wait a second, these decisions are hard. You don't understand that yet." He explained. "Well, I think I do understand," I whispered. My brother sighed and went silent.

"Did you see what happened?" Steve randomly asked me. "See what?" I was confused. "Did you see Barbara when she went missing at the party? Through your window?" He asked more specifically. "No. I only heard you being gross, a camera flash, and some girl screaming outside." I told him. "Girl screaming?" He questioned. "Yeah, probably Carol or something. I dunno.."

He sighed and made one more circle around the neighborhood before parking near a forestry place nearby. "I have something to tell you. I'm not going to explain it well but, it's important. About what happened to Barb." He said. He looked frantic and nervous. It seemed important this time so I listened.

We went home and decided that he would give the sorry gifts to Nancy tomorrow. He expects me to not be shocked by everything. "You're seriously going to just chill here after telling me all that, are you serious?!"' I yelled. "Well, you had enough time to process it on the way home." He gets out of the car which I did too.

"Yeah, but the government could be listening right now.." I whispered. "They aren't. They're gone I think.." He tried to reassure me. "Underground organizations that we probably don't know about still exist though!" I whisper-yelled at him again, then went to my room.

I was still thinking until I realized the creature that Dustin had might've been the thing that took Barb.
