- Your POV

"So you're going to the game right, Harrington?" Aaron snapped me out of my thoughts. "Oh, yeah. I am," I nodded. We hopped out of his car and headed to school. "It's too early for a prep rally," I sighed. "Well, we're winning this season so, why not?" Aaron chuckled. "Harrington! Good morning!" A girl jumped in front of me. "Hey Lorraine..." I stopped in front of her. "After the game, you know once we win, we're heading over to my place! So be there okay?" She hands me a paper with her address. I nodded and she ran off to give others her address. "Very charming, Harrington," Aaron swung an arm around me, which caught me off guard. We finally entered the gym.

"Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for the prep rally?" I asked him. Aaron laughed and jogged to the locker room while I found a seat on the bleachers. I sat in the front since it's been pretty awkward with everyone in the party. The only person I still talked to was Lucas.

As everyone settled into the gym, the cheerleaders began to perform their routine. The marching band began to play their instruments too. The announcer finally called out for the players now, they ran out to the front of the gym very enthusiastically. Which it did kind of intrigue me. "Good morning Hawkins High!" Jason shouts into the microphone. The crowd cheered loudly. "First off, hey. I'd like to thank each and every one of you. Without your support, we wouldn't be here. Give yourselves a hand!" He says, which makes everyone shout out. "And of course, of course, I have to give a special shout-out to the best and prettiest fans of all time. The Tiger cheer squad! Chrissy... Chrissy, I love you, babe," Jason said. Everyone in the crowd was awed.

I tuned Jason out now since I felt deep eyes behind me, staring. I looked behind me to see Dustin immediately look away. I scoffed and looked back to the team. "When we were down by ten points at half to Christian academy, I looked at my team, and I said 'Think of Jack,' 'Think of Melissa,' 'Think of Heather,' 'Think of Billy,'" he said. I looked around and sighed, remembering everything that happened that night at the mall.

"Tonight. Tonight! We're gonna bring home the championship trophy!" Jason announced. All the students cheer, Lucas comes up to me to give me a high five which I return. "You'll be there right?" Lucas asked me. "Obviously," I laughed. He smiled and went back to the team. I waited for Aaron to come back with his stuff and we headed to our classes.

- 3rd Person POV

"If I get in good with these guys, I'll be in the popular crowd, like Y/n! And then you guys will be too," Lucas says as a compromise. "Has it ever occurred to you that we don't want to be popular?" Mike asked. "So you wanna be stuck with the nerds and freaks for three more years?" Lucas questioned them. "We are nerds and freaks!" Dustin says. "But maybe we don't have to be..." Lucas sighed then his attention went to something else. Y/n walked by with a somewhat crowd behind her.

"The after party is going to be at Lorraine's house, not mine..." Y/n sighed to the people around her. "Thanks, Harrington! See you tonight!" A girl shouted. Dustin stared in awe like he was seeing Y/n for the first time again, as she entered into the class behind Lucas. "Look, I'm tired of being bullied. I'm tired of girls laughing at us. You just saw that right? Y/n's super well respected nowadays. And I'm tired of feeling like a loser... we came to high school wanting things different right?" He rambled to Mike and Dustin. They nodded. "So now we have that chance, I skip tonight, that's all out the window. So I'm asking you guys, as a friend, just talk to Eddie. Get him to move hellfire. Come to my game. Please..." Lucas pleaded. The bell rang and he headed into the class behind him.

"Shit..." Dustin sighed.

- Your POV

I yawned, using my fork to play with the food on my tray. "So... how are the grades, Harrington?" Aaron asked me, swinging his arm around me again. "A's and B's," I say. "Cool, cool... hm, I heard your friend... what was his name? Dustin- was staring again during the prep rally," He laughed while chewing some food. "Why do these people observe my every move?" I scoffed. "You're just super admirable, Harrington," Aaron nodded. "Or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets!" I hear a voice yell.
