- 3rd Person POV

At home, Y/n's phone kept ringing. She was unsure of who it was or if it was important since she had to rush to the mall that day. "She's not picking up either, Mike," Will said. "Try it again! We need lots of reinforcement," Mike replied. Unfortunately, she was not going to answer for the rest of that day.

Back to everyone at the mall. Dustin and Y/n were looking out at those workers again. Maybe to see how to enter that storage room. Once they saw the men using a key card to open the door, they rushed back to the scoops ahoy. "That keycard opens the door, but unfortunately the Russian with this keycard has a massive gun," Dustin sighed. "Whatever's in this room, whatever's in those boxes, they really don't want anybody finding it," he continued.

"But there's gotta be a way in," Robin complained. "Well, you know, I could just take 'em out," Steve said. "What? Who?" Y/n questioned. "The Russian guard," Steve said seriously. Robin gives him a weird look, "What? I sneak up behind him, I knock him out and take his keycard. It's easy," He explained.

"Did you not hear the part about the massive gun?" Dustin interrupted. "Yes, Dustin. I did, and that's why I would be sneaking," Steve explained. Dustin and Y/n sighed. "Honestly, how many fights have you won Steve?" Y/n asked. "Okay. That was one time," he reminded his sister. "Twice. Jonathan. Year prior. Your face was covered in so much blood..." Y/n shot back. "Listen, that doesn't count," Steve said.

"Why wouldn't it?" Y/n asked. "Yeah, it looked like he beat the shit out of you," Dustin snickered. Dustin, Y/n, and Steve began arguing among themselves. Robin had gotten an idea of how to enter the room, she stood up and grabbed a handful of money for the tip jar. The three stopped their arguing and asked Robin where she was going but she just told them that she would find a way into the room. She reminds them to be safe and to keep serving customers. Steve and Y/n look over to Dustin, who was eating ice cream right from the scooper. "Oh, c'mon, dude..." Steve sighed before snatching the scooper. "not my scooper."

- Your POV

"Star Court Mall," Robin presents a full map of the mall's layout. "The complete blueprint," she said. "Not bad!" Dustin exclaimed, I nodded in agreement. Robin starts to point at different parts of the blueprint, "So this is us, Scoops. And this is where we want to get to."  Steve spoke up, "I don't see a way in..."

"There's not if you're talking exclusively about doors," Robin turned to a different piece of paper that showed more details of the layout. "Air ducts," Dustin points out. "Exactly!" Robin said before heading to the whiteboard for a marker. She then began to highlight the route to the room we were trying to get into. We all looked over to the air duct that was above us in the room.

Steve opened the air duct and began to see how far it went. "Yeah, I don't know if either of you can fit in here, it's like... super tight," Steve said. "Yeah, you might get stuck in there..." I said to Dustin. "I'll fit, trust me. No collar bones, remember?" Dustin reassured me, patting my shoulder, and smiling. I returned a smile to him. He began climbing up the stool and looking into the air duct.

"Excuse me?" Robin questions. "Uh he's got some disease," Steve explained. "It's uh... do you remember it Y/n?" my brother asked me. "Uhhh... chrydo- chrydo something... I don't remember," I told them. "Yeah, he's missing bones and stuff. He can bend like Gumbo," Steve kept going on. "You mean Gumby?" Robin corrected him. "I'm pretty sure it's Gumbo..." he fired back. "Steve! Just shut up and push me!" Dustin spoke up.

Steve began to push him. "Not my feet, push my ass dumbass!" Dustin yelled at him. Steve was thrown off a bit. "Touch my ass, I don't care!" Dustin shouted again. I laughed at them, and Robin just looked disgusted at them. The front bell began to ring and we saw Lucas's little sister, Erica. Robin and I seemed to have had the same idea.

We brought Erica to the back of the shop, and let her look into the air duct. "Hm, yeah, I don't know..." she said to us. "You don't know if you can fit?" I asked her. "Oh, I can fit, I just don't know if I want to," she snarkily told us. "Are you claustrophobic?" Robin asks. "I don't have phobias," Erica scoffs. "Okay, well what's the problem?" Steve asked her, getting a bit irritated. "The problem is, I still haven't heard what's in this for Erica," She tells us. We sighed and all looked at each other.

Steve presents a banana split ice cream for her. She pushes the bowl of ice cream back to him, "More fudge please." I snickered at my brother, he gave me a look. She had already had at least fifteen ice creams on the table for her, I guess it wasn't enough. Robin began to explain what our goal was, which was getting into the room. After a bit of talking back and forth with Erica, she finally agreed. The only thing she needed was free ice cream for life.

- 3rd Person POV

"Erica, do you copy?" Robin asked the walkie-talkie. "Mhm, I copy, you nerds in position or what?" she responded. "Yeah, we're in position," Robin confirms. "It's quiet out here, so it's a good time to get going,"
Y/n says. "Okay, Roger that, commence operation Child Endangerment," Erica said, attempting to make them feel bad about this.

"Can we maybe not call it that?" Robin sighed. "See you on the other side, nerds," Erica ignored her. She then began to crawl through the tunnels of the air ducts. After a bit, she finally made it, "All right, nerds, I'm there," she confirmed. "Do you see anything?" Y/n asked. "Yeah, I see those boring boxes you're so excited about," she tells them. "Any guards?" Robin questions.

"Negative,"
"Booby Traps?"
"If I could see them, they'd be pretty shit traps... wouldn't they?"
"Yeah, thanks for that,"

Erica kicked the ventilation off the air duct, so she could get into the room. Throws her backpack into the room, and then she gets out herself. "I'm in," she verified. "Oh God..." Steve utters, clearly regretting this plan. Erica then presents herself to the four teenagers, at the entrance of the door. "Free ice cream, FOR LIFE!" Erica shouts at them. The four of them get up to go down there as well.

Y/n handed Steve a box cutter that she had on her. Steve started to open up a box that was on the table. Inside the box was a metal box, Steve turned the middle of it, and took the lid off. The metal box began to steam and there were four new circles on the box. "That's definitely not Chinese food..." Steve said. "You guys should probably stand back," he told everyone since he was going to open one of the containers up. Robin, Erica, and Y/n quickly backed away.

"No," Dustin refused. "Just step back, okay?" Steve said, getting irritated. "No! If you die, I die," Dustin said, very seriously. Erica gave Robin and Y/n a look. Steve stared at Dustin in disbelief, "Okay then..." Steve then lifted the container and revealed a weird green substance in the tube. Everyone looked disgusted but was suddenly interrupted by the room moving.

"Is it just me or did the room move?" Dustin asked everyone.  "Booby traps..." Erica whispered. "You know what? Let's just grab that and go," Robin said, taking the tube from Steve. Dustin and Y/n went over to the buttons, so they could open the door. But the buttons were not working. "Which one do I press, Erica?" Dustin asked. "Just press the damn button, nerd," She responds.

Everyone began to argue and talk over each other. Sadly, when they pressed some random buttons... it made the room begin to fall. Everyone started to scream and try to hold onto something. "Oh shit," Steve said as he noticed that they were going down.

Unfortunately, they weren't sure how long they would be there for now.
