17. Silent Treatment

After 6 months

A/N POV:

It's been 6 months since the accident happened and Y/N is still in coma. Tae has been taking care of her. Their family doesn't know anything that has happened cause no one knows about tae being a mafia except for Y/N.

Tae went to his office and appointed some guards to keep an eye on Y/N's safety in the hospital.

Y/N POV:

I woke up only to find myself in an unknown rooom. I tried to sit up but suddenly a girl came and stopped me from getting up.

??: Ma'am please take rest. I will call the doctor

And then she went out. I looked around the room and realised I was in a hospital. After a minute or so the girl entered with a doctor

Doctor: How are you feeling Mrs Kim ? (He asked)

Y/N: I am feeling good but my head is aching little bit.

Doctor: Don't worry it is normal. What is the last thing you remember before coming to hospital?

Y/N: I was talking on phone when suddenly a truck came from wrong side and hit my car and then everything just blacked out.

Doctor: Well it's good hear you didn't lose your memory after being in coma 

Y/N: WHAT? I was in coma (I asked me shocked)

Doctor: Well yes for 6 months. 

Then he did my check up and went out but the girl was still.
I guess she understood that I wanted to know about her

??: Oh I am sorry Mrs Kim I forgot to introduce myself.... I am Amelia one of the trained members of Mr Kim's team . I was appointed here to keep an eye in your safety. (She said)

Y/N: Oh ok...where is tae ?(i asked kinda hesitating)

Amelia: He went to office but I have informed him that you woke up. So I guess he might come here any minute.

I nodded and just then the door of my room opened revealing Tae.

Y/N: Tae (I said in low voice)

Tae: Amelia ... how is she ? (He asked her)

He was not even sparing a glance at me. Amelia gave my health status to him. 

Tae: Hm good and thanks for staying here ... you may go home. (He said)

She bowed a little and then left.

Y/N : T-Tae..(I called his name )

But he left the room. Tears formed in my eyes. I remembered how I mistreated him and didn't trust him. He must be hurt. And I don't blame him for being angry with me. I cried silently.

In the afternoon all the members came to meet me. But again he was not there.

Jin: How are you Y/N? (He asked while placing the fruit basket on the table in front of my bed)

Y/N : I am fine oppa.  (I said and smiled slightly)

We all talked for a while and then they left. After that doctor came in with Tae. He was still not looking at me. I sighed and then again the doctor did the check up.

Doctor: She can get discharge after two days. It is good to see that she is recovering well.

Tae : Hmm thanks doctor (he said)

The doctor left. I was still lying on the bed. I wanted to go to washroom. I tried getting up and with a little struggle I got up. But the problem was I couldn't walk as my left leg was injured.

Y/N: Tae c-can you h-elp me ? I want to go to washroom. (I stuttered)

Tae: Maybe you can call your innocent bestie Jihoon. (He said sarcastically)

I looked down and then tried to stand but failed.  I was about to fall but Tae held me by my waist. He made me sit on the bed again and went out.  He came back with crutches 🩼 and gave it to me.

Tae: Use this . (He said coldly)

I sighed and with the help of the crutches I went to washroom.
When I came out he was not there.

I laid on the bed and slept while crying.

After two days

I was in the car while Tae was doing the paperwork of discharge in the hospital.

These two days he ignored me completely. He didn't even look at me. My friend Lia was there to look after me. I guess apart from members she is the only one who knows about the accident. Then I received a call from Lia. I answered it.

OTP

Lia: Hey Y/N how are you ?

Y/N: physically I am good but mentally I am not.

Lia: I know you are sad that Taehyung is ignoring you but let me tell you something. I don't know what happened between you two that he is ignoring you but ... (she took a pause)

Y/N: But what Lia ?

Lia: Y/N he maybe giving you a silent treatment now but when you were in coma he was the one who took care of you day and night. He used to sit by your side holding your hand and mumbling "pls wake up my love". You are lucky to have him girl. Sort the things out. I am sure everything will be back to normal.

We hung up the call.

Again tears started rolling down my face but I quickly wiped them as I saw him coming.

Then he sat in the car and started driving. The whole ride was silent. It was awkward. I wanted to talk to him and apologise but I couldn't and I don't know why.

I wanted to hug him tightly and apologise for all the stupidity that I have done.
