13. True Identity

Y/N POV:

I ran to open the door but my whole world collapsed after seeing the scene in front of me.
There were two men, whom I had seen for the first time, were supporting Tae to stand properly. He was covered in blood, and was injured badly. He was half conscious.

Y/N: Pls help me bring him upstairs.

I somehow managed to say that to the men without bursting into tears. They nodded and brought him to the bedroom. They bowed to me and Tae and left. I quickly went and brought a first aid kit. I started unbuttoning his shirt.

Tae: Y-Y/N li-sten to me (he said in his half conscious state)

Y/N: Keep quiet! let me treat the wounds. (I said with a stern voice)

After unbuttoning his shirt I saw many cuts on his body. I was trying hard to control my emotions. I want to ask him a lot of questions like how did this happen? What the heck was he doing? But my brain was not working after seeing him in such state. While I was treating him , he was just looking at me with his half closed eyes. Then I got up and was about to leave when he stopped me.

Tae: Wifey wait!

Y/N: We will talk later. Have some rest for now. (I said and left the room)

I heard him sigh. I went down and started making a soup for him. After the soup was ready I went upstairs and saw he was sleeping. I woke him up and helped him sit. I pick up the soup bowl, which I kept on the nightstand, to feed him. But he just took the bowl from hand and again placed it on the side table.

Tae: Babe give me a hug. (He said spreader his arms)

Y/N: No...You are hurt. (I said )

But he didn't listen to me and pulled me in a hug. I carefully hugged him making sure I don't hurt him. After hugging him I couldn't control myself and started sobbing.

Tae: It's ok Baby. I am fine

I broke the hug and looked at him.

Y/N: Fine? Did you think about me? Do you even know how scared I was when I saw you covered in blood, huh? (I asked while crying)

Tae: I am sorry princess (he said and pecked my lips)

I wiped my tears.

Y/N: But how did you end up like this? (I asked)

His expressions changed. He looked a little worried. He held my hands.

Tae: I will tell you everything but pls promise me that you won't hate me (he said )

I nodded and he started getting out of the bed.

Y/N: What are you doing Tae? You need rest.

Tae: I am fine my love. And now come with me. (He said and started walking ahead)

He took me to a room, the one where I was not allowed to enter. I looked at him being confused. He opened the door and again I was shocked.  The room was filled with guns and other weapons. I looked at him waiting for him to say something. He came towards me and held my hands.

Tae: Y/Nahh I am a Mafia King (he said looking straight in my eyes)

I retrieve my hands from his and took a few steps back. He tried to touch me but I avoided his touch.

Y/N: I need some time.  (I said and left the room)

TAE POV:

Tae: Fuck it (I cursed)

I am sitting on the couch thinking how to make it up to Y/N. I know she hates Mafia as the one who murdered her mom was also a Mafia. That's why I was reluctant to tell her. I sigh and wait for her to come out of our bedroom cause I am damn sure she has locked the door. I close my eyes and rest my head on the couch. Then I hear footsteps. I opened my eyes and saw Y/N was coming towards me. I stood up and she came and hugged me lightly.

Tae: Y/N I swear I am not like those mafias (I said referring to her mom's murderer)

Y/N: I know you are not like them. (She said )

Tae: Sooo...you don't hate me? (I asked)

Y/N: Of course not (She said Confidently)

I was relieved hearing her answer. Then we shared a kiss full of love.

Tae: You wanted to know what happened right? (I asked)

Y/N: Yeah but tell me that tomorrow. For now let's just sleep as it's 2 AM now. (She said)

I nodded and we went to sleep.

~Time skip~ (Next Day)

I woke up and looked at my side to look at my wife but she was not there. I got up and looked around the room and saw she was not there. I got out of the bed and went downstairs.

She was not in the living room.

Tae: Y/NAHH ! (I called her name out loud)

Y/N: I am in the kitchen Tae (she replied)

I went to the kitchen and back hugged her snuggling into her neck.

Y/N: Wait for few minutes. The breakfast will be ready  (she said)

Tae: But before breakfast I want something more important. (I said)

She turned around and looked at me in confusion.

Tae: I want my morning kiss (I said with a pout)

She moved closer to kiss me but..

Y/N: Brush your teeth first you unhygienic boy (she whispered in my ear teasingly)

Then she moved back and continued making the breakfast as if nothing happened.
I turned the gas off and pulled her closer to me by waist and kissed her roughly. After sometime I broke the kiss as I felt her getting breathless.

Tae: I get what I want princess. (I said and ran from there)
