10. Friends?

A/N POV

Tae: Yes, the PROJECT is my dream and not the INVESTOR (he said emphasising the words projects and investor)

She looked down again and Tae sighed. And held her hands.

Tae: Even if he doesn't invest in the project, I can still complete the project. So you don't have to tolerate jerks like him.(he assured)

She nodded. He told her to take rest and was about to go upstairs when Y/N held his wrist. He turned around and was facing her.

Y/N: Sit here .... I will be back. (She said and left)

He was sitting on the couch waiting for her to come. Soon she came with a first aid box and sat beside him. She held his hand and started applying medicine on his knuckles. Well when tae punched that man, he broke his specs and some broken pieces of lens hurted Tae. Y/N noticed it when Tae was holding her hands.
While she was treating his wounds she asked him something..

Y/N: Can I ask you a question?

Tae: Yeah go ahead

Y/N: FRIENDS? (She asked and looked at him with hope in her eyes)

Tae: Huh? (He responded being confused)

Y/N: I mean can we be friends? Like I know this is a contact marriage but at least we can be friends instead of strangers

Tae: Well I would like to be your friend.

Y/N: Okie then it's official that we will be friends and not strangers . (She said and smiled)

Tae POV:

Finally she smiled. Well I didn't just agree to make her smile but I would like to have a friend like her. Then we went to our room and we both drifted to sleep ... ofc with a border in middle.

After 2-3 hours I woke up due to sound of crying. I looked at my side and saw that Y/N was crying in her sleep. Looks like she is having a nightmare. I started to wake her up and suddenly she sat up straight while breathing heavily.

Tae: Are you ok? (I asked)

She didn't respond and just hugged me tightly. I hugged her back and started caressing her hair. Well I kinda like this feeling of having her in my arms.

Y/N: I had a nightmare. I-It was of t-today's incident b-but it was w-worse (she said stuttering)

I guess the incident had a lot of impact on her mental state.

Tae: It's ok. No one is going to harm you.

She broke the hug after calming down and looked at me.

Y/N: I am sorry I hugged you without your permission.

Tae: No need to apologise. You can always hug your friend.

She smiled at the word 'friend'.

A/N POV:

Since that day they both become close friends .

~ one month later ~

Tae: Y/N STOP RIGHT THERE!! (He shouted)

Y/N: NO !!! (She shouted back)

Well Tae is chasing Y/N who is running all around the house. Actually Y/N ate the last few strawberries that were kept in the fridge. And we all know strawberries are Tae's jeev ki pran (His life).

Y/N: Ok ok .. I will stop. (She said while panting)

Tae: I am also tired now . (He said)

He came towards her. She was busy catching her breath. He took this chance and picked her up.

Y/N: Huh Tae put me down (she demanded)

He went towards the bedroom and put her on bed. He hovered her

Tae: do you really think I will leave you after you ate my precious strawberries (he said and started tickling her)

Y/N: Hahahaha....t-tae stop p-pls (she pleaded)

After good five minutes of tickling he stopped tickling. They both were lost each other eyes. Soon they realised in what position they are. Tae immediately got off from her and sat straight on the bed. Y/N also sat up. They both were blushing and not looking at each other .

Y/N: I will go down and help the maids in preparing dinner.

She said and ran out of the room. Tae just laid on the bed smiling like an idiot. He won't admit it but for sure he is in love with Y/N.

Y/N POV:

I came down as soon as possible and went towards the kitchen. I was about enter when I heard one of our maids talking on phone.

Maid: Yes ma'am don't worry they are living happily. Just now they were running around the house like kids.

Then she hung up the call and turned around and her eyes widen when she saw me.

Maid: Mrs K-Kim

I thought of teasing her cause Tae had already told me that maids are secret spies of mom .

Y/N: Are you spying on us ? (I asked with a stern voice)

Maid: N-no Mrs Kim i-it's not like that a-actually....umm (she was stuttering)

She was really scared and now I couldn't control my laughter. I started laughing hard. She looked at me confused .

Y/N: Why are you so scared? I know you were talking with mom. Don't worry I was just teasing you (I said in between my laughter)

Maid: You scared me (she said and sighed in relief)

Then I helped her in preparing dinner. After the dinner the maids left. So now it's just me and Tae again. I remembered the scene that happens a while ago and blushed hard. I wish he would love me just like I do. I sighed and called him for dinner.

~ Next Day ~

I woke up and as usual he was not there. I did my morning routine and got ready for office. I went to the kitchen and saw Tae cooking and none of the maid was present.

Y/N: Tae don't you have office? And where the maids? ( I asked being confused)

Tae: Umm no and as I was going to stay at home so I decided to give a day off to the maids. (He answered)

Y/N: hmm you are not as heartless as I though you are (I said teasing him)

He just rolled his eyes and served me my breakfast. After eating it I went to office.
