15.Childhood Friend

Y/N: I am fine ... How are you Mr. Han ? (I said)

We had an eye contact for a few seconds and then we both burst out laughing.

Y/N: How are you Jihoon? (I said)

And we hugged each other

Jihoon: I am fine too Y/Niee (he replied)

Then we broke the hug .

Y/N: When did you come back?

Jihoon: Yesterday (he replied)

Y/N: Ohh...wait how did you get my office address ? (I asked being confused)

Jihoon: Let me remind you ma'am that you are one of the best CEOs of Korea and also the wife of the most famous CEO , so I only had to google your company name and I found the address.

Y/N: Hmm smart. Plus it is good to know that you still can remember the roads in Korea.

Jihoon: Well....not really (he said)

Y/N: Huh? What do you mean?

Jihoon: I was going to come here yesterday only. I also thought that o was familiar with Korea and left the airport and rented a bike to come here. But unfortunately I got lost but fortunately there was this kind guy who helped me and dropped at my hotel.  (He said and giggled)

I also chuckled.

Jihoon: Btw are you free today?

Y/N: Yeah sort of. After I look over the details of the project I am free.  Why?

Jihoon: I was thinking you could show me the new Korea and also we can spend some time together.

Y/N: Yeah sure. I will be done with the file in 10 minutes.

He nodded and said that he will wait in the lobby and left. So Han Jihoon is my childhood friend. We both met in 4th grade and since then we are good friends. Then after college he went abroad for his dream job. 

After completing my work , I went to the lobby. He was sitting on the couch scrolling his phone.

Y/N: Let's go (I said excitedly)

Jihoon: Yep

Then we went to different tourist location, the places where we used to hangout in the past , our school and his college and then we went to shopping.

It was 7 in the evening and we were busy showing each other the ugliest outfits combo we could make in the shop and tease each other. We spent a hour doing some childish things.

Jihoon: Y/Nie I am hungry...take me to a good restaurant.

Y/N: Yeah sure. I am also feeling hungry. (I said)

And then we went to have dinner.

Jihoon: So how is your married life? (He asked)

Y/N: it's great. (I replied)

Jihoon: That is good to hear

And then I started praising tae non stop.

Jihoon: Bro you are really in love. (He said teasing me )

Y/N: Stop it.  (I said blushing a lil)

Jihoon: Btw Y/N how about we go to a movie ?

I thought for a while and agreed
Then we went to watch a Sci-fi movie.

~ Time Skip ~

We came out of the theatre at 12:30 am.  After that I dropped him off at his place and came home at around 1:15.

Tae POV:

I was waiting for Y/N since last 4 hours and she is still not home. It is making me worried. Then she entered the house. But she didn't notice my presence.

Tae: Where were you ? (I asked in a cold tone)

She flinched a little and then came towards to me and sat beside me.

Y/N: You scared me...btw why didn't you sleep? (She asked)

Tae: How can you expect me to sleep when my wife is roaming around the city with some random guy (I said angrily)

Y/N: What do you mean? (She looked confused)

I showed her a pic of her with a guy.

Tae: Now answer my question...Where were you ? (I asked again)

Y/N: Tae he is my childhood friend. Remember I told you about my friend who was in your college.

Tae: why didn't you inform me? And why are coming home this late if he is just your friend?

Y/N: Are you accusing me of cheating on you? (She asks in disbelief)

Tae: I am not. And you will not meet him again. Cut your ties with him. (I said)

Y/N: And why should I do that ?

Tae: Because I said

We argued a bit and she kept asking why I wanted her to cut ties with him. I hesitated a bit but told her

Tae: you wanna know why ..... then okay ... his father is the one who r-raped your mom and m-murdered her. And he is the one because whom I got hurt and he is the one who wants my position (I told her).

She was glaring at me and then I felt a stinging sensation on my right cheek. She s-slapped me. I was shocked.

Y/N: I didn't expect you to do such disgusting thing Tae. Just because you are jealous you used my mom's death as reason and made him a son of murderer and a mafia who wants your position. (She said angrily and left from there)

I was still sitting on the couch thinking about the incident where she trusted her friend more than her own husband. Tears formed in my eyes. I sat there for a while and then went to the guest room to sleep cause I don't want to face her at this moment.
