16. Accident

A/N POV:

Tae woke up due to sunlight hitting his face. He turned to take his wife in his arms but found the other side of the bed empty. Then he remembered last night's incident and tears started forming in his eyes.

He got out of the bed and went downstairs. He saw a note on the  fridge  from Y/N saying that she has already left for work.

Tae: I guess she doesn't trust me enough or she wouldn't have left for work without solving the matter. (He said in a sad voice)

He had informed the member that he will not come to work.  He was not in the state to do anything.

On the other hand Y/N was working in her office. She had asked her assistant to cancel the meetings that were being held in the afternoon cause she was going to hang out with Jihoon.

~Time Skip~
Afternoon

Y/N was waiting for Jihoon to came and pick her up from her office.
Soon he came and Y/N sat in the car.

Jihoon: Hi Y/Nie (he said)

She just smiled at him. Jihoon started driving the car. The whole ride Jihoon was the only one talking while Y/N was lost in her thoughts

Jihoon: Y/N ? ......Y/N? (He called her out)

But she didn't answer. So he tapped her shoulder bringing her back to earth.

Y/N: Huh Yes? (She said)

Jihoon: Where are you lost? I was called out your name twice. Are you ok?

Y/N: Yes I am. I was just thinking about work.

Jihoon: Yah when you are with me you should not think about work.

She nodded and then they continued their journey. They were going to an amusement park. But still Y/N was not like usual.

Y/N POV:

Since morning I am thinking about tae and last night's incident. I shouldn't have slapped him but I didn't like how he used my mom's death to break my friendship with Jihoon.

~ Time Skip ~

It is 11 in the night and I am in the parking lot. I asked Jihoon to drop me at my office and from there I will go home. Then I started driving. After a few minutes my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID on the car display and it was Taehyung. I disconnected the call. But he kept calling me but I didn't answer the call. Again my phone rang and this time being frustrated I answered the call

Y/N: if you have called me about last night's thing then listen to me carefully .... I am not going to cut ties with Jihoon ....i know he is not the murderer of my mom. (I said thinking it was tae)

But I heard someone laughing like a psycho. I looked who had called me and it was Jihoon.

Jihoon: Oh my gosh...so he told you right ? (He asked )

His tone was different..

Y/N: What do you mean?

Jihoon: Well now I pity your husband...his own wife doesn't trust him....well thanks for trusting me and you are not wrong .... I am not the murderer of your mom

Y/N: I know — (he cut me off)

Jihoon: It was my dad. And about me I just want your husband's position and power. I want to destroy him. (He said and again started laughing like a maniac)

Y/N: WHAT THE FUCK ? I TRUSTED YOU. BECAUSE OF YOU I ARGUED WITH MY HUSBAND.
(I screamed on top of my lungs while tears safeties flowing from my eyes)

Jihoon: Well I thank you for trusting me but I called you to say the final good bye ... (he said )

I didn't say anything as I was busy thinking about tae. After not getting an answer from me he continued

Jihoon: as I said I want to destroy him ...I am going to start by taking the most precious thing from him ...and that is you ..... GOOD BYE Y/N
(He said )

TAE POV :

I have called Y/N for almost twenty times but she is not answering her phone. I am worried that he might do something wrong with her. I just want her safe. I sat on the couch waiting for her.

At around 12:30 my phone started ringing. It was Y/N, I quickly answered the call

OTP
Tae: Y/N where are you? (I asked)

??: Hello sir ! How are you related to the owner of this phone? (a stranger asked)

Tae: I am her husband..but why is her phone with you? (I asked)

??: I am receptionist at City Hospital... Actually your wife has gotten into an accident. Pls come to the hospital as soon as possible

Tae: O-ok (I somehow managed to say that)

I quickly grabbed my car keys and went to the hospital.

While diving I was only thinking about Y/N

Tae: Pls be safe my love (I whispered)

After 10 minutes I reached the hospital and directly went to the reception.

Tae: I got call about my wife (I said)

A lady came and told me that she was the one who called me and Y/N is in the operation theatre (OT) . My heart stopped beating for a second. She led me to OT.

Receptionist: Pls wait here sir..the doctors are operating her. (She said and left)

I fell on my knees as she went from there. I was a crying mess.

Tae: P-ls Pls be s-afe...y-you c-an't leave m-me (I said while sobbing)

After around two hours the doctor came out. I went to him.

Doctor: You are..

Tae: I am Kim Taehyung ...her husband (I said)....how is she? Is she ok?

Doctor: well I have a good news and a bad news for you (he said)

Tae: Tellthe good news first

Doctor : She is out of danger now.

I felt relieved after hearing that but ..

Tae: And bad news?

Doctor : Umm she is in coma and we don't know when she gain consciousness...we will shift her to ICU soon.

I was having mixed feelings. I was happy that she was out of danger but my clenched at the thought of her being in Coma.
