Chapter 36

  "She punched me in my fucking face," Sebastian says, crossing his arms over his chest. "Do you want to know why?"

He doesn't wait for my response before he starts talking again," She punched me because I ordered a shot."

" That was because it was eight in the morning, idiot," Enzo says, causing Sebastian to turn and glare at him.

"She still had no reason to punch me."

"It's probably because of her pregnancy hormones," At my words all their heads turn towards me.

"Her what?" Sebastian asks.

I groan, why did I have to open my big fat mouth. "It's nothing."

"She's pregnant?" Andrew asks.

I nod my head slowly and they all look shocked.

"So she's married?" Sebastian asks and I almost laugh at the idea.

"Hell no."

"Boyfriend?"

"Nope," I say as I put my hands on my hips and raise an eyebrow. "Why do you care?"

He rolls his eyes,"Just curious, I didn't expect her to be the one to get pregnant, what happened to the father?"

I glare at him,"That's none of your business and I swear do not say a single fucking word to her about me telling you this. If she finds out I told you she's going to kill me."

"Noted," Is the only response I get.

"I better go but I'll see you tomorrow," I say and then quickly walk back to the kitchen.

I open the door about to tell Leo that we are going to leave but the sight in front of me has me frozen.

The stupid girl is standing a little too close to Leo for my liking. Leo's arm is reached around her as he stirs the food in the pan.

"Leo," I say as I try to hide the hurt from my voice. He immediately steps away from the girl and turns to me. "We are leaving, it looks like she can cook perfectly fine by herself."

"Oh, maybe I'll see you around," The girl says but Leo ignores her. I turn away from them as I quickly walk away from the kitchen.

I exit the restaurant as fast as I can,"Cleo, wait up," Leo yells. Anger fills me as I spin around and see Leo jogging to catch up to me.

I cross my arms over my chest," Is that all I am to you?"

"What?" He asks, clearly confused.

"Am I just a quick fuck and nothing more?"

"Cleo that's not-"

"I can't keep doing this."

"It was not what it looked like."

"I'm done," I say as I hold my tears back.

I am about to walk away but Leo grabs my wrist,"Cleo I-"

His words seem to get caught in his throat and this only makes me more annoyed,"Your what? Sorry?"

He shakes his head and looks down at the ground,"I love you."

I look up at him confused," What?"

He sighs letting go of my wrist,"I love you." His eyes meet mine again and my breath seems to leave my body.

Leo loves me. Leo fucking loves me.

"Leo," I say but I don't know what to say. What does love feel like, does it feel like your heart is about to explode, does it feel like drowning, does it feel like you could never lose them. Is it when you think of someone twenty four seven? Is it the desire to be close to them? Is it when you know you will do anything for them?

I don't know what love is exactly. Maybe it's what Avila and Gray had. Maybe it's what my father and Mother had. Maybe it's what me and my sister had.

But is it what Leo and I have? My gut tells me no but my heart says something different.

"I love you too."
