Alone.

Muggle Games Suck.

Cassie didn't show up to breakfast that morning.

Remus had been released from the hospital wing and asked how the prank went. Everyone shrugged, Cassie was supposed to be sitting with them to tell them how it went. Instead, it was just the four of them.

"Where's Cass?" Remus asked.

Sirius and Peter shrugged and James looked down at his plate, "Probably her room." He mumbled.

Remus' head whipped towards James and he stared at him, "Talk. What happened?"

James sighed, "I told Cassie we'd-"

"Talk Potter." Remus said lowly.

James groaned and raised his eyes to meet Remus. "Last night.. after we brought you to the hospital wing, we couldn't find Cassie where she was supposed to meet us. So, Padfoot, Wormtail and I went out looking for her. I found her in the owlery. She was.. she looked.. bad." James paused and Sirius made a motion for him to continue, "She was crying, her hair was all messed up, she couldn't breath- she was hyperventilating." James hesitated.

"Then what?" Peter's quiet voice asked.

"So I asked her what happened and at first she wouldn't talk. Then.. she told me uh.. about what happened with Diggory."

"Amos?" Sirius turned his head to look at James, "What'd the bastard do now?"

"Apparently he forced himself on Cassie. Groped her- her chest.. left bruises and bite marks on her neck.. forced her to kiss him. Peeves came and interrupted thankfully.. stopping him from going any further."

The group sat silently for a solid minute.

"He sexually assaulted her." Remus mumbled softly.

James nodded, "I helped her calm down, took her to her room and stayed 'till she fell asleep. She.. I dunno she seemed pretty messed up though."

"Of course she's gonna be messed up!" Remus yelled, gaining a few stares from students nearby. He lowered his voice, "She was fucking assaulted!" He whispered yelled, "By Amos Diggory no less!"

The boys sat silently, eyes trained on the table.

Remus sighed and stood up, "I'm going to check on her."

Sirius looked up and was going to say something but Remus shushed him, and he closed his mouth.

Remus quickly left the Great Hall and raced towards the Ravenclaw common room.

"D'you think I did something wrong?" James asked Sirius as they sat at the table for a bit longer. "Made her.. more scared or somethin'?"

"No mate, she let you into her room, and fell asleep with you there. She wouldn't let some stranger watch her fall asleep unless she trusted him." Sirius said. "You're in mate." He grinned.

"In?" Peter asked, looking between the two.

"He's got a chance with her." Sirius explained. Peter nodded once he understood.

Remus raced up steps, skipping some along the way. He was immediately able to get into the Ravenclaw common room, Cassie had given him the passcode in case of emergencies. And this, this was an emergency.

He begged a Ravenclaw girl who was passing by to let him up the stairs to the girl's dormitory and she took pity on him. He ran to the end of the hall and banged on the door, "Cassie?!"

"Yeah?" He heard her small voice on the other side of the door.

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah."
