I walked into the servants dining area, got some food, and sat down at a table with some friends.

Ama, she had been here the longest.
Beatrix, she was the Barons service worker.
And Kore, she was a guest caretaker.

"The Baron is all exited about his nephews arrival, now that he's of age he can take over Arrakis and stop whoever this 'Lisan-al-gaib'
Is." Beatrix said. She had a soft voice and spoke with elegance.

"I'm worried about Feyd-Rautha." Kore added. "You know someone will have to be his personal servant."

Ama bowed her head, her eyes locked onto the floor then slid up to look at us. "The barons nephew Glossu, he will not be happy."

"Whoever Feyd-Rautha's servant will be, they won't last long." Kore said.

We ate in silence after that, then went off to go serve house Harkonnen.

*SERVANTS QUARTERS*

I yawned sitting on my mattress. It was white and thin.

mini buttons on the wall glowed red if your presence was needed. Different beds in the room also held the same type of structure. Little carved names above each bed told you who's was who's

Nanali~

Beatrix's bed was right across from mine, she was laying down her eyes staring at the top of the bunk.

I saw her button glow red as if it were angry. She sat up, stood, and left.

A few other girls walked in here and there, only servants were female, any respectable rank was a man's job, a man's title.

It seemed like forever before Beatrix walked back in the servants quarters. She had this ghost pale look on her face.

"Nanali, th-the Baron wishes to see you."

I looked at her eyes wide, the other girls in the room turned their heads and stared.

Servants not directly connected to the family were almost never called.
