There was a sudden nock on the door. He stood up, "stay here."

He walked to the room and opened the door.

"The Baron requests a meeting with you regarding spice."

Feyd thanked the servant then returned to me. "I'm going to the meeting, if you feel sick go to the Harkonnen doctor."

I nodded and he left.

Not wanting to waste my time I sprinted off to the library.

When I arrived I scanned all of the books for anything on the Bene Gesserit. I got about three and scanned through them.

Finally I got to a part talking about Bene Gesserit practices.

The Gom Jabar, also known as Poison needle is a device used in Bene Gesserit Living tests. In order to make sure the subject in question is human enough to control impulses a black box is placed on a table or chair. If you remove your hand from the box you die to the needle. The box creates intense pain. Little is known when it comes to the background of the Practice but it is rarely ever preformed to the fullest extent.

I looked up. Why did the Witch want to test me then? I looked through the book and found and area explaining 'The Voice.'

It gave details on how the Bene Gesserit preformed this.

The voice is used to control those around you, able to make the subject do anything you command it is a well known yet dangerous skill. You have to lower your pitch and find the right balance. Only Direct Bene Gesserit decedents are able to use the voice.

I tried lowering my voice and mumbled something.

Sighing, I put the book down and thought for a minute.

"give me the water."

It came out as more of a whisper. I concentrated and tried again.

"GIVE ME THE WATER."

I gasped then felt my stomach churn. I rushed to the Harkonnen doctor. The the door was white with black strips. I burst in and hurled in the closest garbage container.

The doctor stood up from her desk and ran over to me. "Are toy ok?"

She got me some water and had me sit down in a chair. The doctor asked me to list out my symptoms. I told her about the hurling and how tired I was, but couldn't think of anything else.

She handed me a cup. "Go pee in this."

I blinked then left for the bathroom, I peed in the cup then brought it back to her. She put it in the machine, it spun for a minute then a paper slid out.

She took one look at it then handed it to me.
"I know this might come as a bit of a shock-"

I read the paper and stared open mouthed at my diagnosis.
