CHAPTER 12

Author's Pov:

"What happened? Why is face red?", Yerin asked as they were away from Joshua. "Joshua. He is damn weird guy", Haeun said. Yerin snorted, "I know that. The day he poured water on himself to feel the rain was the day I realized he is not normal".

Haeun shook her head, "No, this was actually weird. Like he was so close to me. I thought he was about to kiss me. He was trying to flirt with me and later he said it was a joke and nothing else. He said I am like a book, Seungcheol reads me like a bestseller and he is still on chapter one and then he said no matter what he wants to read me. Like what? I am sure he drank something. He is definitely not in right senses. His voice was so different. It was deep. You can understand right?".

Yerin patted her shoulders, "Take a breathe first. But he did what?". Haeun nodded, "You know he was so close to me? And it felt so weird. I am having goosebumps right now".

"But why is there such a crowd?", Yerin asked pointing behind. Haeun looked back shrugging, "I don't know".

"Let's go and see", Yerin pulled Haeun along with her. "What's going on here?", Yerin asked one of her classmate. "Her brother and his band have kept an audition for the upcoming competition. Don't you guys know?", he said. Haeun gasped, "They already did that? Didn't Seungcheol just went to talk about it?".

"I think they already talked about this", Yerin said. "I am interested in this", they heard a loud voice beside them. They both looked at the boy. "Is he new here?", Haeun asked. Yerin shook her head, "Nope. I have seen him a lot of times. I even heard he has a good voice". The boy noticed their gaze and apologised, "Sorry for being loud".

Haeun shook her head, "I am happy seeing someone as loud as me". He smiled. "Your smile is beautiful, keep smiling", Haeun said. The boy blushed, "I didn't introduce myself, didn't I? I am Lee Seokmin. I am one year junior to you".

"Hey, I am Kwon Haeun. Nice to meet you. All the best for the auditions", Haeun said. Yerin too introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Jung Yerin. I have heard you have a nice voice. I would like to hear it once. Anyways, all the best for auditions". He smiled nodding his head.

Haeun smiled as he went along with his friends. "I never knew there were so many people existed in our school. Woah", Haeun said. Yerin laughed, "Then once the auditions starts, you will more shocked, cause you just love to live in your bubble". Haeun smiled bitterly, "I know".

"Hey", Junhui said. Haeun smirked, "Hey. How is everything going now?". He just shrugged, "It's just going just the way it is".

Haeun saw Jihoon coming from behind. "Did you hit someone with your guitar yesterday? Like on their head?", Haeun asked as Jihoon approached them with a confused face. "No, you want me to? I have my guitar with me. Just say the name".

Haeun shook her head, "No. Someone was actually behaving weird today so I thought you hit that someone with guitar". They laughed as they understood that the 'Someone' Haeun is talking about is none other than Joshua.

"Why are you guys laughing?", Haeun asked. Yerin shook her head, "They know that 'Someone' you are taking about".

"We just met a guy and he was excited for the auditions", Yerin said. "You both will be there during the auditions right?", Junhui asked looking at them. Haeun frowned, "What are we gonna do there?".

Jeonghan came forward, "You can help us with arrangements like you both have always done". Haeun and Yerin looked at each other and nodded. "Yep, we will come then".

Joshua stood far away from them. He shook his head, "Why did I even act like that?". He, himself was stunned by the way he talked to her few minutes before. He liked seeing her flustered face, the way her eyes went wide everytime he leaned closer. 'I just did it as a joke but her lips just looked kissable', he thought but soon removed it out of his mind.

Slaping his cheeks, he shook his head, "What am I thinking?". He was shocked by the sudden thoughts he was getting. Joshua shook his head again, "I hate her".

"Who do you hate? Haeun?", The voice said. Joshua turned behind to see Jeonghan. "Wait, you were there just few seconds ago and now what are you doing here?", Joshua asked. Jeonghan smirked, "I have super powers. I saw you behaving weirdly. So I just sneaked here".

"But who do you hate? Haeun?", he asked the same question. Joshua slowly nodded. Jeonghan chuckled, "You know hating someone is also a kind of relationship. You do have some connection with her. You just love annoying her because she reacts just the way you want. But I don't think that's hate. You will never think of kissing someone when you hate them".

Joshua looked at him with wide eyes, "How do you know everything?". Jeonghan continued to smirk, "I just do. You know super powers". Joshua sighed, "Don't tell about this to anyone". Jeonghan gave a thumbs up, "But why did you even do that?".

Joshua shrugged, "I just did it to tease her. But it was fun. I actually loved seeing her reaction".

"Just make sure you don't let your intrusive thoughts win otherwise there is not much distance between your face and her hand", Jeonghan said. Joshua snorted, "You think I am really going to kiss her?". Jeonghan shrugged, "You never know".

Time Skip:

Haeun slowly entered the library. As usual there were not much students sitting there

And the librarian, of course.

Joshua still wasn't there so was Seungcheol. Haeun was curious to know what did Seungcheol say about her during their practice but whatever the act Joshua did today morning actually scared her.

She was in deep thinking when someone snapped their fingers infront of her face. Haeun flinched ready to fight with the person who did that but kept quiet seeing Joshua.

"What are you thinking?", he asked. Haeun shook her head, "Is Seungcheol with you? He said he will be sitting with us today". Joshua shook his head, "No, he maybe coming here now. Till then we can start? I need to go early today".

Haeun nodded, "I want to ask you something". Joshua turned to her, "See today morning I just did that to tease you. Don't think I am actually falling for you. That's never gonna happen".

Haeun squinted her eyes, "Don't act like I am dying to make you fall in love with me. That's never gonna happen".

"Hey guys", Seungcheol said sitting infront of them. Haeun smiled, "Hey, how was the practice?". He grinned, "It was fun, wasn't it Joshua?". Joshua nodded.

Haeun frowned, "You guys seem so happy. What happened during practice?". Seungcheol shook his head, "Nothing it was just all seven of us together so I was happy".

Haeun smiled, "Shall we start?". Both of them nodded. Seungcheol got up, "I'll go and get some books". Haeun smiled as she watched him go. "You like him so much", Joshua said. Haeun turned to him, "He is adorable".

Haeun looked at Seungcheol who was trying to find the books he wanted. "I love whenever he unknowingly pouts", Haeun said. "You look like a creep right now", Joshua grumbled.

Haeun turned to her book, "I know but he is too adorable. 24 hours are even less to adore him". Joshua shook his head, "I am more adorable than him".

Haeun snorted, "Once you said that being delusional is not good, I am copy and pasting the same thing to you".

She moved close to him, "Being delusional is not good, honey". Joshua smirked, "If you move so close then I'll end up kissing you". Joshua found it fun to tease her like that.

"Why are you behaving so weird since today morning?", Haeun asked. 'Today morning when I teased you, I loved the reaction you gave. So I have decided to tease you like this from now on', Joshua said in his mind.

"I asked you something. If you look at me I like that I am sure you will fall in love with me", Haeun teased breaking Joshua's thoughts.

"Are you guys kissing?", Seungcheol asked. Haeun moved back hearing this. "Ew! Never even think about that?". Seungcheol chuckled, "It looked like that".

Joshua made a disgusted face, "My lips are too precious for someone like her".

"You guys are here to study not to talk about your kisses", the librarians stern voice echoed throughout the library. Seungcheol looked at her, "She is scary". Haeun and Joshua slowly nodded.
