Author's Pov:
The days passed quickly. Whatever happened at Joshua's house remained a secret between them.
"Whose book is this?", Seungkwan asked holding up the book. "There must be a name written on it right?", Yerin asked. Seungkwan shook his head, "Nope, there are some drawings and Joshua's name scribbled over it".
"Oh then must be Haeun's", Yerin mindlessly answered. All the heads snapped at Haeun who was sitting along with Joshua, actually fighting.
"I won't leave you until I do the same", Haeun shouted trying to reach Joshua's face. "Why is there face covered with paints?", Seungcheol frowned.
"Even I don't know".
Joshua chuckled making fun of her height. "Aww", Jeonghan whispered seeing them, "Time goes too quickly. Before they used to strangle each other now they are doing the same thing but with smile on their face".
"They are basically killing each other", Minghao said. "No, they aren't. In simple words, it's their love language. Don't worry, you will get habituated to it soon, just like us", Jihoon said.
Joshua stood up, going away from her, "Let's see if you can apply that paint on my face". Haeun accepted the challenge running behind him with her brush.
"I won't stop you both but believe me, If I see any marks on my clothes you both will be dead", Jihoon said. Haeun continued to chase Joshua around the house.
"Make sure nothing happens to the walls", Seungcheol shouted.
Joshua stood behind the chair, narrowly avoiding a swipe of her paint brush. His laughter was infectious and she couldn't help but join in.
"You’re fast", he teased, peeking out from behind the chair. "But can you catch me?". Haeun's determination flared, she lunged forward, her fingers grasping on his shirt.
"Almost got you", she panted. Joshua danced away his away, his eyes alight in mischief. Haeun sat down on the chair, "How did we end up in this room?". Joshua looked around, "Oh, I think this is guest room".
Haeun took the opportunity and swiped the brush across his face. "I won", she cheered. Joshua smiled taking away the brush from her.
Haeun quickly realised what his intention was, she moved away. But Joshua was quick enough to pull her back. "No, I am not going let you do that", she said trying to come out his grasp.
Joshua cornered her, "You started the game, let me end it", he whispered. He leaned in putting a streak of paint on her nose. Haeun stared at him as her heart did somersaults and the butterflies erupted in her stomach.
"Your face is red", Joshua smirked. Haeun closed her eyes, "What's wrong with me?". Joshua chuckled, "You are falling in love".
"What if I let my thoughts win?", she whispered. Joshua shrugged, "Let them win". Haeun bit her lips, "It will just make things more awkward". Joshua shook his head, "I promise you, it won't".
Haeun closed her eyes, her courage surging. She leaned in and planted a quick peck on Joshua's lips. He stood there in shock.
Haeun looked into his eyes, "Sorry for this. I shouldn't have done that". Joshua blinked his eyes. Haeun was about to go when his grip tightened around her wrist.
"Should I let my thoughts win too?", he asked. Haeun's eyes widen, "Are you gonna slap me? Or worst what if you tell them- No please".
Joshua wrapped his hands around her waist, "Just yes or no". Haeun was too curious to know, so she just nodded, "Yes".
