CHAPTER 24

Author's Pov:

A crowd stood infront of the store room. "Sir, I am sure. I just saw them going inside together. They still must be inside", Jiwoo said.

All the friends were there too taking glances at each other. Yerin told them how Haeun vanished before Mr. Lee approached them.

Soonyoung bit his nails, afraid that if Haeun and Joshua are found inside then they might get rusticated.  "Stop that, I am sure they are not here", Wonwoo said pushing away Soonyoung's hand.

"Bad news. They are inside", Jeonghan whispered showing them his phone. The message which Haeun tried to send them only reached Jeonghan. Now all of them looked tense while Jiwoo looked nervous to open the door.

"If we don't find them inside then you will get a punishment, Miss. Jiwoo", the principal said in stern voice. Jiwoo nodded requesting them to open the door.

"But it's wrong to use they keys without anyone's permission, so you might get into trouble", Mr. Lee said. Jiwoo sighed, "I know but I did nothing wrong".

All the friends glanced at each other, worried about Haeun and Joshua. Soonyoung again started to bite his nails but was stopped by Jihoon.

All of them crossed their fingers as the principal was unlocking the door. The door was opened and Jiwoo rushed in along with Mr. Lee and Principal.

"What's going on here?", a voice asked. All the seven of them turned behind in surprise. "What are you two doing here? Aren't you supposed to be inside?", Jeonghan asked rushing towards them.

Haeun frowned, "How did you know we were locked inside?". Jeonghan showed her the message. "You got the message then why didn't you help us?", Joshua whispered.

"What did you expect me to do? Go to principal and tell him give me the keys of store room so that my friends who are locked inside can escape?", Jeonghan said, "Jiwoo or whatever her name is, locked you inside and complained about you two doing some wrong things there".

Haeun and Joshua glanced at each other, "We escaped early". Just then Jiwoo came out of the room followed by Mr. Lee and Principal.

Jiwoo looked at them baffled, while Mr. Lee's anger was vanished, replaced by curiosity. "Where were you two?", he asked.

Haeun and Joshua looked at each other, not knowing what to answer. Until a voice spoke out, "They were with me. They were helping me in the library".

All of them turned owner of voice, the librarian. She glanced at Joshua and Haeun, "They were with me".

Haeun and Joshua smiled seeing her. Mr.Lee stared at her and nodded before turning to Jiwoo, "So, I think you actually need a punishment for this. You have violated the rules, meet us in the principal cabin". Jiwoo looked down and nodded.

"Everyone, get back to your classes now", Principal said the students followed whatever he said. Joshua and Haeun thanked the librarian for helping them.

"I helped you because I believe you won't do such things. Don't break my trust", Librarian said and went.

"Let's talk about this in the break, now go to your classes", Seungcheol said.

Haeun sat on her own place while Joshua sat behind her. As Jiwoo entered the class, she glared at Haeun and Joshua. She walked towards them, "I am sorry for whatever I did".

Haeun gulped before asking, "What punishment did you get?". Jiwoo sighed, "I got suspended for 2 days, nothing else". Haeun nodded, she looked at Joshua feeling guilty.

Jiwoo went back to her place and took her bag, "See you guys after two days". Haeun stopped her, "I don't know why you did that but I think you wanted us to get suspended". Jiwoo smiled, "I wanted to. I know it was you in the storeroom. I remember how you both were so close to each other, almost kissing. But I think luck was on your side this time. Let's see what happens next".
