Starting a new chapter of marriage, parenthood and business owners, everything is going so well until someone tries to tear it all apart...

They're at her initial crew luncheon and Robin dragged Kayden along to "mingle." It's not that he doesn't like to get out. He has friends he likes to hang with but honestly, Kayden likes to stay to himself.
People are usually a sentence away from being written off in his book. Only because people have become so chronically online that they've lost the perception of real life. Real interactions with real people and are now just..dumb??

Kayden sighs. He could be home playing the game or working out but it's not much he wouldn't do for Robin.
They had a conversation about two weeks ago of how guilty she feels. She believes Kayden is with her most of the time (it's his job) and doesn't make time for him to have a personal life. She's been tryna get him out ever since.

Robin walks away and Kayden tucks his hands in his pockets. He surveys the room, out of habit, and nods to himself. Typical high class party with the smell of money in the air. Yeah the cast and crew are more down to Earth but with the big wigs in the room, everyone seemed to have stepped up their game.
Kayden is hoping the lunch will actually be enjoyable and not stiff just for the sake of appearances. Ever been to a party like that? The fakeness alone would make him want to gouge his eyes out. However, Kayden hears Beautiful by Snoop Dogg and he shakes his head with a smirk.
